THE BACKSPIN FOREHAND DISGUISED ASS TOPSPIN, IS SO PERFECT, AND BEAST IS SO GOOD, THAT HE SOMEHOW KNEW IT WAS BACKSPIN, JUST BY THE CURVE OF THE BALL? BUT DIDNT KNOW HOW MUCH SPIN WAS ON IT
Not “somehow knew”. He knew it from Dan’s matches. Dan even told Frog to watch out for weird “heavy backspin” hooks before this match.
Wait. Did Frog play against Otto? I know Dan told someone about it.
@@kenji2787 Dan played against Otto and warned beast about that shot
Why is Otto so gooood
Great video pongfinity
4:03 is the best shot of the match
Can Otto at least pretend that he cares lol
i love his monotone voice lol
makes it even funnier when he did those weird ass noises in the stereotype videos
tt player not an actor lol
Around the net tall table
Could we get a tutorial on Otto’s underspin topspin shot? 😂
4:13 still the best
Can we have a "underspin loop" tutorial? I have no idea how you managed to put backspin on such a shot (4:04)
You Just have to use your wrist and Take the ball pretty late, its Not that hard
Beast’s serves were killing Otto, but Otto’s backhands are just illegal!
has the beast used his backhand this match?
what material is otto playing?
I think he is using Rakza 9 FH, Rakza X backhand, idk what his blade is.
@@ashupashu5559 He uses timo boll alc I think
Wait, what happened at 2:30?
Yeah same i guess beast knew that ball is gonna hit the table and hit it instantly but it wasnt clear at the same time the ball is gonna come to the table 100%
Ball clipped the net and didn't hit the table, so Beast's point.
Ball went out, Otto lost the point but jokingly continued to play xD
@@zeuhnciean4161 That's what I thought after rewatching a few times, but it clearly wasn't super obvious, since Otto looked confused too. So what happens if a shot would've gone out but it was too close to tell and it was returned? Where's the line drawn? Err on the side of it would've been in? Or deliberate on the slowmo replay until there's a concensus?
@@Hackrifice Otto wasn't confused - he jokingly said it was his point but it was obvious he knew it was Beast's point. As with your other question, if it is not clear who's point it is, the umpire will decide and cameras recording the match can also be used.
Beast was the more solid player and not phased by ottos casual bh slaps
otto you are the best
Can someone tell me how otto's ranking is significantly more than beast but beast won the match against him ?
First of all I don't know where you got that idea from, considering you cannot simply compare Louis and Otto's ranking to their respective countries and if you wanted to go by the ITTF men's singles ranking list, you'd see Louis is in the top 800 whereas Otto doesn't even appear on there. Secondly, rankings do not always determine who is the better player.
beast just got out beasted loool
no
beast also conforms that otto is better then him he is just better and he didnt even try to beat beast if he was plaing consentrately he would have destroyed beeast
I wouldn't be so confident about that. There's no reason to think Otto didn't try.
Otto is like I'm way too big to play table tennis properly, but what if I just use my weight to generate a lot of heavy spin on my slow balls and hope that my opponent can't return them fast, then I don't really have to move, do I?.. Legit strategy, but has a skill ceiling certainly :)
He's one of the best in the world, while you could never even dream of becoming this good
@@Meurth one of the best in what now?..
@@alk672 nr 2 in Finland, top 500 world, idiot
@@alk672 nr 2 in finland, top 500 world, are you brain damaged?
@@alk672 braindead?
Has anyone commented yet on the fact that Otto has an illegal serve every single time? The toss has to be vertical and he gives it at least12-20" of horizontal movement helping him generate more spin on his serve.
And you can shut up❤
Second
First 👍
SECOND
That soft toy 🙄...even fifth graders could think it's childish.
We need a second match, but in Finland. And Otto being a little more concentrated and serious to have a tough game.
Serve return always the hardest but using offense rubber expect that.
Do a video with all of the sensi’s best moments
what equipment is Otto using in this match? rubber and blade?
Rakza series (9 and x) and Timo boll series (spirit or alc) normally...🤔
@@danielflores4278 that backhand is a real cannon.
Beast confirmed himself one of the best
Just watched this after airplane touchdown
Pongfinity never disappoints! Otto and Louis showcased why table tennis is such an exhilarating sport! #Respect
Otto has such a risky play style, not just after he’s losing but right from the beginning. His shots are massive, unreactable, unseeable, but so inconsistent. Even as a low level, I can tell his games depend on how many of those lands on the table. While Beast focuses more on consistency and less power.
Personally, I hate playing people with Otto’s style because they’re just hoping to win by random luck. Most of the time, they just smash my serves out the table making me pick up the balls.
I somewhat disagree. Otto doesn't "rely on luck", but more like he doesn't want to or can't move much, in exchange he has his strats and his deadly moves. Superior players can beat him, yes, but weaker player may not be able to beat him no matter what they try. An example would be Otto's match vs Dan.
To me Otto is like an old man playing TT (I'm not saying he's old, mind you :P). He looks very casual, but if you don't know what you're doing, he would destroy you faster than you could say "What happened?"
Don’t let his size fool you. He’s an amazing player and it’s not like you can finish points against him by placement because he “can’t move”. The only thing I dislike about his style is the kamikaze style. He can win without those. In the match against Dan, most of his kamikaze style attacks failed but he still won.
It isn't 'random luck' when you've put in the time to get good at those big shots.
What a pointless argument. They’re called risky for a reason. There are balls you can go all out and there are balls that you just don’t. He’s missing majority of the shots here. That’s not “good”. Beast can do the same too, but why doesn’t he? You think he’s not good enough to do it?
"Beast can do the same too"
And does on almost every point. It's why they call him Beast.
it's always weird when left-handed people play
