Worked for Yamaha for years. I had the RD400 Daytona Special. The RZ350 Kenny Roberts Edition. Then the RZV4... You ain't lived till you had the V4 Two Stroke....
I would add. When the Honda VF500 Interceptor showed up. The game was over. As the 1986 model was damn near bullet proof...
Just so you know, those pipes were never fitted to that model, so they're not original. They are from the later RX350S 1WV model.
They dont appear to be 31k pipes
I was wondering about those pipes too. My ‘83 RD 350 certainly didn’t had those. And it was totally stock - and brand new..

My mom bought me an RZ 350 in Peru Indiana in 1983 and I will never forget when I first saw it on the showroom floor. I did not know what I was buying but I knew I had a big smile/excitement on my face in the hopes that she would get it for me. Yep, "Kenny Roberts" it said. Black and yellow. Brand new. Peru Indiana. Lots of people started showing up at my house to ask if they could ride it. I was just 16 years old.

Great bike I used to have one I think a good set of V Force Reeds will help with the throttle response. Thanks to the popularity of the Banshee parts are available.
Nice example of the classic RZ(RD over here in the UK) Ken shame the weather wasn,t better so you could let it rip and enjoy the power band kicking in at 6k.
Have 1 put 40000 on it should try your way of keeping km down unhook speedo and tac cables lol ,love it someone will be lucky to own it .
Sounds good.. i used to race a 250 RZ ...great little bikes .. can eat up larger bikes on the Twisty`s...

Always wondered why they called it a RZ350 in America and we got the RD350 eitherway its just another clear example of a low mileage minter wearing its olive drab fixings one lovely bike kaplan cycles
83 was the 1st year RZ in Canada, before that it was the RD. Owned an 82 RD and 84 RZ. Wish I could find one now
I had a RZ350LC like this one and a RD350LC both lovely bikes. If you have the funds to buy one....do it.

Had a 1984 KR edition and a 1976 mint RD 400 both spec II chambers RD was built by Dan Pikes of pikes bikes in Deep river ct he raced TZ 250’s

Performance is 100 mph in 4th its a 6 speed lol bury the needle all day .
