Honestly, Arno feels very two-dimensional. He lacks conviction and true dedication to the Creed. He literally uses them to achieve his own, selfish goals, and is a *MASSIVE* simp for Elisé, which is the only part of his personality that truly stands out. His character development at the end of the game comes out of nowhere and feels rushed. Too bad it took a DLC to give him at least some form of justice. The Assassin Council has like a few minutes of screentime in total, and contributes nothing to the story, which truly is nothing to write a book about. Combat is stupidly easy and boring, parkour is well animated, but has absolutely zero weight, unlike the Syndicate one, which by the way has smoother and more fluid animations, even if there's fewer of them. Both Syndicate and Mirage have better stealth system than Unity, which truth be told is painfully buggy, like practically every single system in this game. So yeah, some very very flawed peak, one that most would consider mid at best, or even straight up lowest of lows.

It took me 32 hours to 100% it, but that's because I wanted to have some fun with this game. Really tried to take my time with Mirage, but after a week or ao it was over. Ehhhh, the more you anjoy something, the sooner it ends. That was the case with this game.
You need to press jump button and A or D/move analog stick to left or right. Sometimes Basim just jumps off from wall, but that's about Mirage's parkour still being a bit of a mess.

Actually, I have to agree. I'm not a big fan of Unity's parkour, Syndicate was definitely better in that regard, even if they cut down on movement animations, but parkour from Origins to Valhalla...I don't know, it didn't feel right. I do have some recordings from Layla Trilogy waiting to be uploaded, but that movement system still feels off.

To me it's difficult (maybe even straight up impossible) to top pre-Unity games in that specific regard.
I much prefer Syndicate over Unity in that regard. It has fewer animations, yes, but the ones it has are more fluid and parkour has that nice weighty feeling. Something Unity doesn't have.
@@SirJacobFrye68 I played and finished Syndicate 6 times over the years and it's in my top 5 AC games but compared to Unity the city seemed kind of dead + the parkour got more complex and simple at the same time which can be both good and bad depending on the players style. I get that Victorian London was dark at its core so its understandable that its not as lively and vibrant as some other games in the series but it still lacked that something for me. A lot of conflicting emotions when it comes to Syndicate but a good game nonetheless :)

No clue how to trigger Side Ejects at higher ledges. He just hops right to a wall.
It takes some practice to figure it out. Even then though, side ejects can be inconsistent.
