Nova Aonic first impression, Branäs (Sweden), May 2021

I just got my brand new Nova Aonic yesterday after having flewn a Gin Bolero 4 for the past eight years. After some groundhandling, I took the glider to the nearest mountain (Branäs, 569 msl) and had a first flight in weak to nil wind.
You will see my personal thoughts during this flight in the video - enjoy.
I am a low-airtime pilot flying since 2012, the last 8 years on a Gin Bolero school glider. What a difference in handling and performance! The Aonic brought back this exited feeling of flying and enjoying. I hope, I can develop a lot on the wing.
