I want to join the drum corps so bad I am a drummer at my church I live in Illinois the phantom regiment I am37 years old is it to late to join the drum corps love Eric aka Duke
Remo Black Suede. They've been using the White Suede for years, but this year they switched to black to completely black out the line(heads, shells, hardware)
I don't know what it is about Cavies books, but I can never get into their in the lot stuff. Every year I love the show they put out, (excluding last year, I really wasn't a fan) but every year I can never watch the drumline on its own and like it. Weird
It helps to clean cold attacks (places where they come in without having played anything for a bit), to keep time/ to keep their place in the music, and is a tradition that sounds awesome
wana see a reel drumline? just wach "drumline" wit nick can- Okay I can't even fake that, Drumline is a stupid movie and Cavies drumline gets me buck. (And Cadets)
Personally I don't think they're better than Top Secret like people were raving, in fact I think they play a little bit on the safe side and as a result come off boring.
There is absolutely no feeling like that of being part of a drum section... some of the best memories/feelings of/in my life :D
I totally agree with you.
I get tears in my eyes and chills on my skin every time I hear a drum section playng together... :D :D
Bloo hangin with cavies. That's respect
Wow did anyone else see how perfectly aligned their bass drum mallets were in the exact center, it is so perfect.
The first tenor player's solo has such amazing stick control to play his consistent dynamics. So awesome. GO CAVIES!
nesnaj21 thanks that’s my brother
Haha love how the Bluecoats are watching!
...tears of joy in my eyes...
Ok I usually don't say this but those basses are orgasmic. That tuning is perfect and they sound sooooo good.
Ahhhhhh dangit DCI, that groove section played during the "credits" was the part that I really wanted to hear... However, thanks for the upload!!!
SICK basses! :O
Pretty cool to see the love from the Bluecoats as well.
That's awesome. Shows it's not all about competition, but going and seeing what all these people are accomplishing.
I saw this lot! Pretty badass show not gonna lie. Champs are gonna be extrodinary this year.
That decrescendo split... the stuff bass babies and miracles are made of!
My highschool is getting these drums very soon!
Very excited this year! Can't wait to see everyone in Indy! :D
Was in this lot. First cavies lot i've seen since like 2008.
love the bluecoats appreciation in the crowd! respect!
I love the beats this year.
oh god yes! bass drums that actually sound like bass drums!! the split at 2:53!! yesssssssssss so psyched!
Fuck I love that pitch bass....when they sound like tenors..... true talent!!!! Great line!
TENORS GHOSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made my day awesome tenor tuning
Them Bluecoats players though lol Onye just sittin there like a beast
sooooooo clean ughhhhhhhh
I don't know why people are complaining. That was really good.
Woah, some notes! Great Tenor and Bass Line!
That bass run was A-MAZING.
*faints*

+eric forst The ageout for DCI is 22, but you can join DCA at any time. Just look around.
I have always wanted to use brushes with a marching snare. I'm happy it seem actually do-able
Everyone sitting there had a bluecoats shirt and were in the line two!.
grammar nazi holds back
The center snare is now part of PR's visual team. Cool guy :)
@gerv55 They're actually saying "dut", simulating a snare tap to keep time and signal cues.
Blue coats gear at a cavies lot lol ... I LOVE IT!!!
I'm diggin the shots on the 3.
Very Impressive! :-)
Thanks Much!
Remo Black Suede. They've been using the White Suede for years, but this year they switched to black to completely black out the line(heads, shells, hardware)
Much better than last year
Well it's a lot better than last year's show already
By the looks of it Onye was like "Uh dats my jam"
when the time comes, if they can nail this book, I dont see whats stopping them from taking 1st in drums.
Yes it is :)
I marched with the snare player 3rd to the right of the tenors, his name is jeramiah west
I love Onye in this video.
The lick at the end 3:30 is amazing and catchy. Please hmu with that if you can
Yessssssss
LOL is that the Bluecoats drumline watching them right??? Thats onye with the headband
wwwwwoooooooowwwwwwwwwww.....!!!!!!!!!!! expectacular q manes tan re asperos y uno q solo sabe redoblar y ya
that's the perks of performing last at a show. You have Lot time before having to get ready
Awesome set! Can they come to my house and play? :->
yes sir quads
One of the snares looks like tyler oakley
Ben
what tenor sticks are those? i want a pair.
Did macintosh tech them '12 and '13? I heard he left and is coming back '14?
What kind of heads are the quads using?
0:21 there's always that one guy that HAS to mark time.
You can tell Onye's diggin it
Are the Cavaliers in Rosemont?
Yep
the "da da da" is actually "dut dut dut" its how lines keep time without playing
No upside down Tenors this year? :D
anyone notice the guy wearing the BLOO jersey?
Is...is that Onye sitting on the ground?
He's the only one marking time because if they were on the field he would be the only one marching. It's part of the set.
I think the music was written very nicely. Maybe last year, they just didn't need so many notes to accommodate the horn book.
thank god jeff had most of those solo rolls
bellissimo
BASS!
0:08 I'm I late again?
Whaaaaats with all the bluecoats in the crowd.... and why does the feel of this line feel like coats
I C YA MANBOI!
for that set hes the only one marching.
Basses!!
Haha I think that's half the Bluecoats drumline!
Anybody else notice the bluecoats drummers sittin there.
Andy Brown!
That's most likely due to the drill of the show. Or probably because he's the only one playing
I'm not feeling their logo
3:20 dat Travis Hattery thoe
Serious bass line...
0:36

was that onye watching cavaliers? haha
Blue coats were just sitting there like (sigh)
fuzzy snares
They certainly aren't the best, or the most skilled, but they are by far the coolest sounding
Gut..aber zu wenig draus gemacht...schade
Sick tenor fake at 2:26!
Orange crush........
Guys I know chill out
You HAVE to be joking me.
Why do that go duh duh duh
So they can keep time.
It helps to clean cold attacks (places where they come in without having played anything for a bit), to keep time/ to keep their place in the music, and is a tradition that sounds awesome
*are
Their drums are pretty sick this year.
Illuminati drumline :0
It makes me EXTREMELY sad that the Cavaliers only allow boys in their corps. As my name makes it (probably) very clear, I am a girl.
wtf is the "da da da da" all about?
they are dutting to keep time
YEAHBASS
Basses is sick .
this is a precision drum line. not some ghetto crunk college band. so if you want to see a real drum line, keep watching DCI videos.
i dont like the snare tuning
wana see a reel drumline? just wach "drumline" wit nick can-
