Similar activity in Telangana too. My relatives bought agricultural land in 1989, registered in their name. They have been cultivating the land for years, no issues. They wanted to sell part of the land, land value went up more than 30 times. When they went to registration office to register to the buyer, registration office is saying that 'patta' is in some other guy's name, even though it is registered to them, it not their land. No one knows that 'Patta' holder. KCR Govt created Dharani portal, Dharani Idea is novel, but created a mess in implementation and intentionally modifying the records. Now these people are forced to go to court against the government for causing this mess.

Many - Many Bhajanas are there on Record about the Srichandoor Dev Bhagwan.
I also learnt that it is as famus for 'Mundan Sanskar' (offering hairs) as is done in Tirupati Balaji.
I am surprised, 'The Land' which produced verly intelligent and fame people like 'Sankrachaya and Guru's scientist and many more, have to take NOC to claim their own land from waqf board. Shame on the TN govt.

Sir I am along with 7000 families in hyderabad boduppal municipality too facing the same issue of waKf board as our property was included in prohibited list in 2022 and but we have documents taken from revenue department from 1954 where there is nothing to prove it is wakf land. This is a serious issue which needs to be address immediately by the government. We are carrying out protests in our locality against this issue on a daily basis but there is no response from the government here. I think the wakf act needs to be amended or abolished. Since no one agrevied by it can go to the supreme court.

Sachhar committee report concluded that the Muslim community is much below poverty line and here we have the WAKF board which is the third richest statutory body, (mind you it's not a government body) in India. They say the property belonging to WAKF is given as charity by Muslims to the board. How do Muslims who are much below poverty line in India donate so much land to WAKF? The answer is they don't. The WAKF board can randomly claim any piece of land or property as theirs and our dear respected governments of the past have given them these rights. Such claims cannot be challenged in the court of Indian law but at a private legal body of the WAKF where the members are the local Muslims of that particular area and one member of the local municipal body. After (randomly) acquiring/ claiming the property, the WAKF board informs at the local registrars office (where documents of ownership are lying around in heaps) and not the actual owner of the land. Unless one wants to sell their property or do a search report of their own property they do not come to know that the property has been taken over by WAKF. It's known to all how our registrar offices function ( corruption and red tapism). And this is exactly what works against the owner and in favour of the WAKF board.
The minister of minority affairs is the chairman of WAKF board.
WAKF is against secularism, unity, and integrity of the nation. The Waqf is not mentioned anywhere in the Constitution. The Waqf Act has been given uncontrolled powers to Waqf Boards and Waqf properties have been placed over and above other charitable religious institutions.
