    The videos the last couple of days have been real. It's so great to just ride along and see real farm chores in real time and you don't focus on million dollar equipment (like others), but you share the real daily life of the American farm family. Great job Eric and thanks for all you do.

    I think the last few videos have been great!! We're lucky to get any videos this time of year, super busy time on the farm. Work comes first, videos are at least second or third in order of priority. Blessings to you and your family.

      My area of WI used to be down right infested with Harvestor silos. Now bunkers and bags have replaced them almost entirely.

    It's coming back to me now. I had to cut a 2" x in the face near the top to let off the gas. It would build up so much pressure the plastic would tear around nails, if I didn't. Especially with cereals. Taped it when gas went down.

    The joy of a "modern " winch for your unloader, one with a motor. WE hand cranked ours up, took a few days... not full time, but when you were in the barn, go give it a few turns of the crank!

    I envy the ease in loading your corn planters. We finished two weeks ago planting Onion Seed. It must come out of the pail, measured into 2 gallon buckets, delivered to the field for reload, then loaded into Milton Planters. But it is so dependable, no need to upgrade. Just bend and pour that seed!

    Hey Eric... Regarding the small tires, paint a white stripe on the sidewall and you can easily spot if they are turning. Works good for trailers too!

    Up here in Manitoba Canada guys are just getting started planting most are still fertilizing but i wish we could grow our hay field like that threw the winter would be amazing

    I know filming must be tough when you have so much work to do, but I’m so glad you do the videos in spite of the extra work. For me this is the most exciting time of the year. But I guess when you’re harvesting that will seem like the most exciting time. But you’ve really been doing both.

    Enjoy the videos. I would recommend you get a 3/4-1" round piece of brass for pounding in shafts like the wheel shaft on the planter. Metal (hammer) on metal (shaft) can be an issue. Even a 2x4 can work. Be safe!

    Would like to see how you seal up the bags. We switched from bags to baleage 22yrs. ago, when our chopper wore out, and we exited the dairy business. The way we did it was to roll up a 12 ft. 2"x8" in the loose end and nail another one to it from the outside. Worked pretty well. Prob. a better way to do it now.

    My uncle has farmers lung from silo gases. He never took precautions. He definitely is regretting it.
