I disagree with Odette carrying the season on her shoulders but that's down to each persons perspective so on that we don't agree. I am still working on some edits yeah but I've been super busy recently so finding the time has been hard.

Well, glad you got back to it, but at times we each need a break from electronic entertainments... this storyarc this snippit scene set is from is basically a deliverance ministry story; as Samantha Arias is basically an alien witch, thus a girl gangster in a lot of ways, and thus: possessed.
Incidentially the way Sam was so rightly scared of "Reign": that pretty well proves a case *against* witchcraft; especially if said witch is terrified of what she met- these things're easily enough to cause permanent compound eternal PTSD in the extreme!

I personally disagree with you about the finale, I thought it was a relatively strong last episode I wasn't disappointed about Mon-El or Winn for various reasons, and I'd also seen the spoilers for what was going to happen WAY before it happened. As for Kara and Mon-El that's TV shows for you I guess? I'm not a shipper and I've never found myself caring enough for the pairing even though I tried back in S02. I was overall happy with the finale and excited to see two Kara's next season!

ForeverYours Actually I felt like the episodes in Argo felt off compared to the rest of the season. Kara was fully coming to terms with letting Mon-El go throughout the whole season then does 180 degree turn in Episode 21, then goes right back to Kara having come to terms with it in the finale, so for me it wasn't the finale that was the problem it was the Argo episodes, because it's clearly caused confusion about where their relationship stood. To me it was obvious Kara had accepted that they couldn't be together. Showing anything other than their mutual departure would have been regression in Kara's development through their relationship within the season. That was part of the story, it wasn't for no reason.
One thing I really *like* about how Sam's story is shown is that they accurately depict just how demonic possession really involves profound bullying... I mean, Sam's no weakling, but what's been going on really is she's being bullied by "Reign", really drastically. Course, if she were really a willing occultist; a lot of her activities would include hiring "seductive hits" on (presumably) guys who catch her fancy; as in a "Help me to seduce him." kind of deal; that kind of darkness. Two things likely factored into Sam not being inclined to do that: 1.): while she'd no doubt want a daddy for Ruby- she knew that that'd be really sexual assault by means of spiritual "aid"; and was put off by it, and 2.): "Reign" whatever "her" faults; really wasn't into "physical intimacy" but was truly genocidal/murderous in her core.
The dynamics between Reign and Sam is literally an abusive slavery, with Sam as Reign's slave in a gang- as anyone at all whoever goes into the occult is a slave of the demons they encounter; and so Sam's rightly afraid of Reign, deeply so.
I will say *this*, they did a truly *marvelous* job with Sam Arias being a witch who wants "*OUT!*" of that gang; and "reign" is her mistress in that gang, a demon who's possessing her... theologically, such a woman is in fact her neighbor's adopted stepsister but whose wound up in a gang and is thus enslaved in said gang.
Now in addendum I *am* very much a fan of some works I've ran across, wherein Sam is ironically biologically kin of Kara's; part of the beliefs I'd have in favor of that, as well as her family being very highly placed in their society is that when their planet was going to self-destruct: the pods they used would really be at a premium- utterly priceless!
In reality, in this episode series arc, it seems as though "Reign" is really the demon master/mistress/owner that inhabits Samantha Arias, and Sam Arias is in fact a witch who appears to want to run away from that gang, so in the coverart to this video, Ma'am (I'm trying to be polite, and I don't recall your name, so please do understand and forgive me any offenses I may happen to make in addressing you like that), her owner is saying to her "You aren't going *anywhere* till *I* say so!" and holding her by the NECK to make a point, or so it seems.
