You may think he only loves Marinette because he found out she was ladybug, but in the episode, he said he always felt something more than just friends. Even if he doesn't love Marinette "Romantically" we can tell he really cherishes her and their friendship that they have. Both Ladybug and Marinette are important to him, that's why when he connected the dots he really loved the fact that Marinette is ladybug
Yeah.. I really wish she didn't have to fix everything though ngl.. I think the last episode in the series might be where their Identities actually get revealed to each other, or at least that's what I'm hoping for.

This is seriously so well made!!! This makes me want to cry... I remember when I first saw this episode I almost teared up because it was a complete nightmare to watch characters I have grown to really like go through this. The saddest part is that he killed everyone in Paris! His family, his girlfriend, his friends, everyone in the whole city. He even found out that his mother wasn't completely dead but with the power shut off he probably killed her too. And he may have destroyed far outside of the city too. And he was still akumatized, so he was just left confused and depressed and angry and heartbroken. Another sad part is that we don't know when ladybug from the past shows up, so he could have been like that for a day or for weeks or even months. Edit: From reading these other comments I just realized that I never even THOUGHT about PLAGG! I wonder if he went crazy too, or if it felt like he was trapped or asleep or something? Anyway that's scary and sad to think about too because he also had nothing to eat, and had to stay in that form for who knows how long.

His father is abusive, he keeps getting alienated from all of his friends, he can’t have a normal life… his father forced Mari to break up with him, which did break his heart, but it was finding out the truth about his father and getting beat on and having his mother thrown in his face that truly broke him 😔 he tried so hard to fight it and when the akuma took over my heart cried for Adrien 😭
Oh I hope so! There are already several nice theories about how he may return! One of my personal favorites is the theory that if there's ever gonna be a Sandboy 2, then that little dream demon might bring one of Ladybug's fears to life once again, only this time she's not scared to loose her power (I mean, she defeated him without her powers once already) but instead she's afraid of Chat Blanc! And honestly, who could blame her? She had to fight one of her closest friends, she litteraly saw the end of the world and on top of that, Chat Blanc was just straight up creepy and unpredictable! There's no way all that didn't leave her some level of trauma! I think this would really be one of the most effective ways to bring him back!

At the end when ladybug came back he got out of control and wanted that “perfect” wish - I don’t blame him because if I was in his position I’d probably do the same.
This video just punches the gut hard. It’s so sad to see that Cat Blanc tries to be the man for Ladybug but Ladybug always pushes him away. Even if it's only been a few months pure silence ( besides weather) no people ,no one to talk to.. he would clinically have gone insane with the large amount of regret and despair he felt- hell he couldn't even detransform to have plagg by his side. And maybe there could be a part where Bunnix goes to this point in time and tries to bring Chat Blanc around, but he starts to be possessed and he and Bunnix start fighting, and that's the reason that she goes to the present to collect Ladybug to help her! And maybe at the near end, Chat Blanc will slowly start to snap out of it and tells Ladybug/ (of corse pronouncing her as Marinette,) where the Akuma is and he breaks his bell for her, because he doesn't want to live like this anymore! Because of the whole adrien being a sentimonster theory people are saying he went crazy because he cataclysmed the whole world including himself. But he could have just gone crazy because he was “all alone without his lady” for years in an akumatized state.
I wish they had shown a scene like this in the episode, it would have been interesting to see more of his point of view after he was akumatized. I think this episode had too much to be done in 20 minutes, it would have been great as like a special. Also, really good job on this edit!

I am literally crying. This episode was so heartwrenching for me.
He couldn’t help himself..he lost his dad, the love of his life- he murdered most the world. There was no one left. He was alone for months. He missed everyone-he missed…her. At the end when ladybug came back he got out of control and wanted that “perfect” wish - I don’t blame him because if I was in his position I’d probably do the same.
This video just punches the gut hard. It’s so sad to see that Cat Blanc tries to be the man for Ladybug but Ladybug always pushes him away. And the fact that when they finally unite, Ladybug is immediately gone. Cat Noir needs to be given more love from Ladybug and Gabriel Agreste instead of just being pushed away by the two of them.

Even if it's only been a few months pure silence ( besides weather) no people ,no one to talk to.. he would clinically have gone insane with the large amount of regret and despair he felt- hell he couldn't even detransform to have plagg by his side. He was left alone with his own thoughts it's almost as bad as a prison putting someone in a dark room with sound proof walls- and heck they still know people are there since they give them food 2-3 times a day

i can't imagine how bad and painful it must've been for him. a 14/15 years old, all alone in a destroyed city, no where and no one to go to, everything is flooded and everyone is dead, your father and the love of your life and everyone else death is on your hands, stuck in a super suit, probably no food. he's been there for months. and it's even worse once you remember how fucked up his life were before that, and that adrien hate and scared of being alone and trapped, now he had no one to tell him what to do and no where to be held in yet he had no where to go and nothing to do. 🐾

And maybe at the near end, Chat Blanc will slowly start to snap out of it and tells Ladybug/ (of corse pronouncing her as Marinette,) where the Akuma is and he breaks his bell for her, because he doesn't want to live like this anymore!
