Ryan Clark, vocalist of Demon Hunter, is the guest on this episode of the BREWtally Speaking Podcast!!
Ryan joins hosts Dan and Jon to talk about the bands latest albums, War/Peace (no it's not a double album lol) and how the concept for each record came about. We talk about the interesting career Demon Hunter has had, in that the band has never really been a full time band, and how that may have helped or hindered their careers.
Ryan also reveals some of the titles that weren't used, Louder Than Life 2019 and MUCH MORE!!

27:03 Haaaa, so true. The first DH song I ever heard was Dead Flowers. I heard it on local Christian radio (on their 2 hour special "rock and rhythmic" program). I had never heard anything that heavy before, so it didn't register with me right away.😆👍

Demon Hunter was the first metal band I ever heard and I’m glad they were

Thanks for the interview. I typically like the more melodic music. I appreciate the diversity in Demon Hunter's music.

Good music is good music, and lyrics that aren't pointless and repetitive are cool too. Especially if someone wants to do acapella (in the way of the church historically) Something that is too repetitive gets boring real quick. Not an expert just a 31 year old dude that listens to a lot of music.

The reason why their slower songs are more popular is because they have the title “Christian” next to them. People who grow up listening to Christian music typically go with slow and softer stuff.

slow, heavy aggressive. or more melodic with a wider range of tone tends to attract me lately. Perhaps because I can try to sing along. I like pretty much all the peace album from demon hunter for that. plenty more songs I like for the catchy gotta sing it bits.

I grew up on CCM and Petra. I like both fast and slow stuff. Just saying.😅
