A peachy vlog. The Allman Brothers are a good jam band. Man just put on "Mountain Jam" and cruise along for 40+minutes! Loved the peach shop. Then you had gone and tempted me with the plate of sausages sauerkraut and a favorite German potato salad! Danke Jordan!
Serendipitous that I found this video tonight. Today is Gregg's best friend Chank's first birthday in heaven. They were best friends for decades, from the late 60's to the end of Gregg's life. From one ABB kid and lifelong fan to another, thank you for this video! 🍄🍑✌️❤️
I live in South Carolina...The Allman Brothers are one of the best Southern Rock band ever. Actually in my book they’re #1. Saw them every chance I got in my teenage yrs. I was absolutely in awe of Duane’s skills as a guitarist and his use of the slide. I grew up with my father playing multiple instruments and one of my brothers playing several also. So it just stood to reason I would pick up the guitar and learn how to play. That was many yrs. ago and boy how I miss them.
I live in South Florida and every time we go to see our kids in Atlanta we go through Jacksonville and Macon. I picked up the guitar after seeing the brothers in Piedmont Park when I was eight. Loved this video! Thank you!
both homes are nice.... roadside stores looks impressive all sorts of goodies to buy.... mmmm the meal looks pretty good. enjoyed the drive in the rain . that's great you have someone that love to babysit Jah. well drive safe and take care Jordan !!!!
Yasss!!!! Shout out from here in Jacksonville! Home of the greatest southern rock bands that ever lived. Don't forget 38 Special out of Westside Jax. I grew up there and still live here today. Love the opening off 295 in St. Auggie? The Orange Shop hands down the best honeybells.👏👍
Great feature as the ABB is truly one of the greatest bands of all time. 45 years of legendary musicianship! You MUST visit the Big House ABB Museum in Macon, GA.
Jordan this was a fun and amazing video and the food looks good, even though is started rain you were still having and fun and i was too watching your videos you brighten my day,
When Greg Almond wrote his book, I read it.. I can not remember a lot, but, I do remember that he became a Christian .. He had a hard life... Thank You!
So cool, the Allman Brothers are so legendary. Loved seeing the little sights like the fountain, dolphin lamp post etc. German restaurant was awesome. Thanks Jordan and Jah❤️🌄🐶
HA! My mom was also a huge Allman Bros fan. She ended up meeting Gregg at an AA meeting (the quintessential boomer pick up spot once they outgrew the bar scene) in Miami when we lived there (early-ish 90's). He was hitting on her and she pretended she didn't know who he was. My mom was awesome...lol. It was always one of our favorite stories she told. May her and Gregg both RIP.
Thanks Mr. Jordan! I've been living here in Jacksonville for 22 years. I'm originally from WI. Lots of Southern Rock history here, that's for sure. I love those road side attractions, too. :).
I am sorry Jordan that it rained really heavy while you were in Jacksonville to see the Allman Brothers places. I remember walking in Riverside about over a year ago and it was pretty interesting to see musical history that was made there at those two houses. I think the greenhouse is pretty cool. I hope they keep it green.
Allman Bros are way cool, loved all their music, but some tragic endings. They will always live in my heart. My Mother had a German kuko clock from the black forest made us crazy, we put the kuko to bed when I visited 😴 love the lions 🦁
Really enjoyed this one Jordan! I'm a huge fan of the Allman Bros band! Lots of tragedy with the band but they were a HUGE part of my youth. Loved them love loved them! I felt so old when Gregory Allman died like I lost my best friend from my high school days! So talented so special! They were the southern boys for sure! Miss them! 💔

Hi Jordan, I love those little roadside stores, they have such great little items in them. Great seeing these two houses, it looks a nice area, and hearing the information about how the band came about. Thank you Jordan for doing this vlog in the pouring rain, I hope you didn't get too soaked. Loved the peach store aswell. Great vlog Jordan.
Road tripping with you Jordan is always a blast . From the oranges 🍊 to the peaches 🍑 to rock legends. 🧡👍 love the fountain ⛲️ and the light with the 🐬.
As far as I know, German Potato Salad is always served warm. I don't care for it or that sausage, and I'm mostly German. I love sauerkraut, but with hot dogs or Polish dogs.
Another great vlog as always Jordan Love watching your channel. Man that food looked great. I always wanted to go to South Carolina myself, one of my first stops would be Shoeless Joe Jackson's gravesite. I'm hoping that you plan to do a vlog on him someday. Safe travels buddy.
Hey Jordan 🇯🇴 having trouble with TH-cam on my phone. Having trouble going into live chat it has been like this for the last few days, sorry I couldn't help out. Take care
Hey Jordan, thanks for taking us to the German restaurant! When you lived here in L.A. did you ever check out The Red Lion Tavern in Silverlake? The place is bomb!

Duane was and still is the goat of rock guitar. Rest In Peace Skydog
My favorite band, THANK YOU for featuring them. So refreshing to see a young cat know so much about classic music and respect it so much.
Shout out to our boomer parents who taught us about them.

Cool!👍 I learned how to surf in Jacksonville FL. I’ve always said that Allman Brothers CD was the best 5 bucks I ever spent. 💿🎵
Very cool to see the Allman Brothers locations. That food looked delish!
My Pop got me into The Allman Brothers as a kid. Now at 47 I still love their music. My Pop called their music "Real American Music For Everyone" .

Millions of peaches
Peaches for me
You must've been near Ocala and went up 301. I know those places. The legendary Burger Barn.
🤙
Jordan you should have eaten a peach for a salute to the ABB albumn!
Hi Jordan. Really enjoy your videos. Long time follower. But have you thought about doing a video on the swampers at muscle shoals
I did one...

So cool, Jordan! Were they still selling baby gators? Love your side trips. I was in the beer fest Octoberfest

Oh yummy pie
"she'll have the bratwurst"
