Recently purchased your car's twin ('90 ZR1 Black / Grey) except all stock including wheels and exhaust. I was initially concerned with the long starts but it seems that is common place. Beautiful!!
Lol. I try to be as nice as possible about the noise it makes. No excessive idling, no revving. Just start it up, and get out of the neighborhood so I can enjoy it.
Previous owner has these installed. Dynomax 17228 mufflers and one of their double wall round tips. I’ll have to measure the tips to figure which one they are.
@@kylec4zr1 im in the process of starting some mods on my Z... I figure the 2.75 stock pipes just fine. Just get rid of the choke points, resonator and muffs. And i love how yours sounds and how flush the tips look to the rear cutouts in the rear valance. That and i love the sound of yours....
@@jamie8262 Thanks. I wish I could take credit for how it looks and sounds but it’s all the previous 2 owners. supposedly replacing the resonator with an x-pipe is about +10hp alone. It does drone, FYI, but it’s my fun car so that doesn’t bother me. As for the tips being flush with the rear, let your exhaust shop know what look you want because it’ll be up to them to weld the tips onto the mufflers.
Why the C4 isn't more apricated I will never know.... Wonderful auto!

Check temp sensor it might be weak causing long starts
Thank you for the tip, but believe it or not, this is a 100% normal startup for the DOHC LT5.
No shit learn something every day I have a 95 lt1😢. But i had a long start an it was that sensor. Wish I had your heada lol
