Love the floorwork in Addy Fulcher's routine! She's such a natural dancer, and I'm excited to see how her career progresses

Just a viewer, but that bobble by Finnell on beam should have lost her the gold.

Loved Fulcher's Alegria routine, but to mount with a double tuck wasn't gold medal worthy in my personal opinion. I miss the late 80's. I appreciate all the hard work these ladies are doing, absolutely, but the routines 30 years ago were harder and more interesting. I also think it's RIDICULOUS that men don't have to use music and prance their asses off. Women should be given the same option. Also, men should be allowed to use music, and in fact be given BONUS for doing so!

If these were seniors, I’d definitely agree a double tuck Mount is much too simple. But these are juniors, Addy is only 12. She still has four more years to up her difficulty before she can even compete at the senior level. So I think her pacing is fine. Plus, her artistic expression is much more advanced than most juniors. And this classics meet focused a lot on giving full artistry deductions, according to the announcers. So it’s not too surprising to see a relatively easier routine do well if their artistry is ahead of the rest of the competition.
Side note: still can’t believe the late 80’s was over 30 years ago, my god! But that was such a golden time for artistic expression and advancement in difficulty.
