Really well laid out video man, I have been practising for this for almost 9 months now, gonna purchase the 3 months pwk soon, please do make a video on how to get into the pentesting industry as that's my goal atm. Also do you think the OSCP and a decent resume would be enough to land a job in pentesting?

In the case of the exam, you use manually exploitation. You'll usually search on ExploitDB to find a proof of concept and you'll have to do light modifications to make it work

DarkSec thanks, so then how to sent it to target and execute it? With Netcat for sending and autoscript for execution ?
I’m doing PWK right now and I’m really struggling with this

@@Saw-o3h Typically it'll be a case of exactly that. You'll start by launching a Netcat listener and then you'll send yourself a reverse-shell. Typical exploits allow you to get remote command execution on the system, allowing you to use one-liners to send yourself shells :)

Nothing like that yet but I suggest checking out the oscp-like boxes list that TJNull made. IppSec has a number of videos on this boxes and he avoids metasploit. I'll have similar videos soon but he's an excellent creator and those will help you loads
