    These are really cute. I think it's funny you mentioned not cutting them so they'd be a "manly size". My hubby told me my regular bars are hard to hold and too big. So, I've started making more soap per batch, then I fill my regular soap mold and some extra smaller silicone hand bars just for him. I add my extra embeds in the soap I make for him. It doesn't match typically but I just mix match and shove random extra soap into his bars. 😂😂😂

      He, he, yes, I don't like soap that's too big. I bet he loves his special bars

      Thanks so much. Yes the evo vanjs are great. Unfortunately we don't have them in the UK as our regulations are very strict and they don't allow mixing different soaps together as the allergens and ingredients can't be labelled

    That came out great! Lovely creative way to use up those extra bits. Amazing how you can make even a scrappy use-up soap look like a careful design!
    Could I ask a favour? When you mention where you've bought something (like a specific tool, a fragrance or colourant), would it be possible to add a link to the item, or even just type the company name in the video description?
    In the past I've tried to Google them, and it can be tricky because either I've misheard you (my hearing is not great), or else its not spelled how I'd expect.
    Thank you. 😊

    Loved the video. Your enjoyment of the process, and the final soap. I love it when you entertain yourself! I kept thinking this is so unlike Lisa when you were really randomly placing the thinner pieces. Im used to your mathematical precision. You stopped blending at the right point. More and you wouldn't have such lovely flecks but a muddy colored layer (don't ask me how I know). Kudos on how to use your excess.

    Hi Lisa, can you please advise me as to why I am getting white stearic spots in my soap. I do use shea and cocoa butters as well as tallow. Thank you. I have learned so much from your videos.

    • @IDreamInSoap
      @IDreamInSoap  ปีที่แล้ว

      HI Linda, stearic spots typically come from soaping too cold, so make sure you are at least between 80-90F with your oils and lye and you should be OK.

    What's the best way to wash all the containers and utensils after soaping? I've tried putting them in the dish washer but they end up with this cloudy layer which I have to spend ages wiping off. I'm just making soap for myself at the moment and looking for the easiest way but still want to be as clean as possible. Is hand washing the only option?

    • @katie-xb5yb

    • @IDreamInSoap
      @IDreamInSoap  ปีที่แล้ว

      I hand was all of mine. I scrape them as clean as possible, and then I wipe them out with a microfiber cloth until they look clean. Only at that point do I wash them in hot soapy water
