Now that I’m older and think back on the reveal in the movie versus in the show all I can think about is what you’ve already said, and then also that whole town going “oh here she goes again” as she reveals her identity to the world
Yeah, even as a kid I was so surprised to see Lily forgive her that fast. It was understandble how hurt she was by Miley becoming the center of attention at her own birthday party, a party that clearly meant a lot to her and, quite honestly, looked like a really fun time. While I understand Miley not wanting her identity blown because the assistant dude Oswald was following her, it might not have even happened had she left the store *immediately* after realizing she was late and not gotten so focused on winning those shoes from Tyra Banks.
@@DJtheBlack-RibbonedRose Exactly! And the movie was supposed to be the conclusion to the Hannah Montana franchise and it didn't do anything properly. 13:36 Solution? Miley says she's busy that night but offers another time she would be free. That ways he shows she's interested and doesn't entirely let him down, but she also isn't trying to pull a SuperMan/Clark Kent where she's in two places (or worse: one place, as two different people) at once. Fun Fact for Seamus : Miley Cyrus is actually from Tennessee in real life. I'm also from Tennessee so I loved both her and Taylor swift as a kid ; however, I am not a celebrity so who cares. Just wanted to answer your question from the video.
I never actually realized that Taylor Swift was in this movie and I love that she is because the love interest of Travis is played by Lucas Till who also plays the love interest in Taylor Swift’s music video for You Belong With Me.
I saw this in the cinema wen it came out, there were weird things in it, even for the show's standards, but I still enjoy the music to this day, some of the best songs from the franchise, I mean Taylor helped write some of them, it makes sense

I think Clark Kent probably isn't far fetched accept for people who know him as both, like Lois Lane. She worked with Clark a lot and was around Superman in close proximity, often looking at his face, so unless she just totally doesn't look at clark when they are at work, you'd think she'd notice. General populous, sure fine, but one does wonder about Lois.
Charlie Chaplin usually wore a lot of makeup and had a fake moustache on in the movies (is 1930's, so no HD involved) so he could pretty much go around without getting noticed, and maybe didn't work that hard on that contest (I know, he was a workaholic)

Because then later in the last episode of s4 she tells the whole us/world that shes hannah montana. So it wouldnt make sence to have her tell everyone her secret, but then later come to tennesee and have them not know her secret and swear to not tell anyone
@@mollygustafsson7546 she does?? Damn I guess I just never saw s4 then...
I remember singing the song “The Climb,” from the end of this movie during elementary school graduation. That was interesting.
*Hoedown Throwdown plays*
Seamus: "I've never heard of this song before."
"That's impossible."
lmfao true.
I spent half this video waiiiitttiinnggg for seamus to recognize Jan. So glad you finally did lol
Wow Seamus I have that remote too! We have so much in common ❤️
NO WAY
The whole sweet 16 party got way over hyped by hollywood. For just about everyone the biggest difference for a 16th birthday party would be the type of balloons.
I’ve said this once, twice, THREE TIMES!!! But for YEARS!!!!! You’ve SOMEHOW managed to upload AS SOON AS IM SCROLLING ON TH-cam!!!! Congratulations!
Little did we know, seamus has a vegard wig that he puts on to become a pop star
The question was always "Jake or Jesse" but I was always team Travis
the realisation that it’s Jan from the office had me rolling 😂😂😂
Great Video Seamus and Vegard.
look, the girls that get it get. the ones that don't don't...
If you don't get, I guess you're not that girl.
Love that quote sm.
Wtf
as an American i can confirm that the Tennessee scenes were *WAY* too American for me as well.
yes but they're accurate 😂😂 if you're in the country and have money you ride horses and dress/act like that 💀
Americans in the north be like that's too southern for me lol
@@dolfuny what’s funnier is that i’m actually in the South.
As a Tennessean it’s not accurate at all. Unless your out in the middle of nowhere.
@@DaenerysGOT18 yeah that's where they're at 😂 as somebody who lives literally in the middle of nowhere, this is fairly accurate
WATCH THE SUITE LIFE MOVIE ITS FREAKING WEIRD
Oh my gosh, you need to watch the Good luck Charlie Christmas movie after this! It's sooo good😍!
seamus does the best hannah montana cosplay
also, just wanna say it would be hilarious if instead of hannah, they named her helena
The funniest part of her landing in ny, and it not being ny, and the only way you can tell is bc of the cow, is that once you leave the city, there are SO MANY dairy farms
Subscribed just for the bit at 6:30. We love Taylor 😌😌
all this...and I can't stop thinking about that egg door.
its so impractical.
(kinda like pretty much everything else in the Hannah Montanna series tbh)
I am really enjoying this format Seamus!
The soundtrack for this movie is iconic and is the best part.
Taylor Swift wrote the last song and the guy is in the You Belong With Me mv
“That’s not New York, there’s a cow!” Well it’s not the city, but the rest of NY objects to your logic.
😂😂
I cried in the theaters, thought the show was ending and it broke my 9 year old heart.
U know, as a kid, I never watched the Hannah Montana tv show, but I was OBSESSED with the movie… dressed like her every Halloween, had a fake guitar and wig, fully obsessed! And yet I didn’t know about the tv show… lol
I love this series of you reacting to Disney movies
Can't wait to see Seamus react to encanto
This can be a joke, but Seamus if you see this then its on Disney+ 😏😉
They do actually address it later in the show in a throwaway line inside a 4th wall break. I don’t remember the exact episode but it’s when Rico, Jackson, and Jackson’s girlfriend narrate the episode with songs
The only episode I can think of where Rico and Jackson narrate the episode through song is He Could Be the One, but it’s only those two…
I rewatched the show recently & all I remember is them mentioning Crowley Corners a handful of times.
I’m so excited you’re watching this Oscar snubbed classis
6:30 yay an actual Taylor Swift reference this time
I’m a little bitter that Seamus didn’t share the mic when he didn’t even know the words to the song 🙄 lol
I can't imagine watching commentary for some of these shows, but this commentary is top tier.
This movie is literally a masterpiece???? A favorite from my early teenage years
I love these kinda videos!
Yyou look so happy making this videos. I enjoy them so much more now cause when i was watching your previous ones (past two years or so) i felt like i was growing older and couldnt fit in(since i started watching you on 2016 when we were the same age) now its great again❤️ but always only do whatever feels right for you.
This is the first video I’ve seen of yours! Subscribing immediately after the Welcome to New York reference!
17:15 Cousin It is it you? Btw "her cousin" also appears in Taylor Swift's video "You Belong With Me", he is the boyfriend.
Vegard is still alive?!? I swear he makes more appearances on your channel than his own. Hehe. But I'm not mad at that 'cause that's a great 2-for-1. 😁 Sending you both love & aloha from Honolulu. 🤙 (a "shaka", it's a Hawaiian hand sign used for "hi" and"bye")
seamus being a swiftie is all i need
“love videos with gay friend” lmaoo jokes aside i loved vegards commentary on this and the HSM series hes so funny
I was dying of laughter this entire review..thank you!
I respect your sacrifice.
I'm glad this came out the day after I saw Miley Cyrus live. Also, I like that your friends socks perfectly match the couch, Seamus.
I actually don't mind the wig disguise that much, i feel like she does look somewhat different and there are tons of celebrity doppelgangers. What always irked me though was that her dad was a well-known country singer and like everyone knows that robby ray is hannah montanas dad (that's also my theory of how she got famous, she's a nepotism baby) but also, everyone in their lives (like at school) knows that robby ray is miley stewarts dad. Like yes he put on the mustache but afaik he never changed his name when he was around hannah?
"Are they cousins?"
"Seamus!"
"I don't know, it's Tennessee!" lmaooo
Seamuuuuus. The climb is such a good song! What are you talking about “too slow”. This song played at my elementary school graduation as we all did or procession out the door. I fucking balled that day Seamus. I was so sad to be going to middle school. Shameful 😂
fun fact: you’ll always find your way back home was written by taylor swift
this was genuinely such a funny video i keep coming back to it and i laugh just as hard every time
seamus i love ur new videos! i like the laid back style :)
I also distinctly remember seeing this movie in theaters with my sisters and it's honestly one of my core memories with them. Despite the classic tropes and underdeveloped plot with Lilly, I think I'll always love this film lol
Almost every episode used to start with a concert scene I guess they were paying tribute to that
Omg. I also watched Hannah Montana: The Movie without ever seeing Hannah Montana and I also met Mikey Cyrus because it was the premiere and she showed up. My dad was the photographer so he got a backstage pass of sorts and got me a signed poster. I also got all kinds of Hannah Montana swag that I had no use for but I did enjoy having.
The difference is that I was like 8 so I didn't hate it
Not many Americans do sweet sixteens. Honestly, not many people even do birthday parties by then anymore, except like going to a restaurant with your family or some friends (never both.) The big sweet sixteens are only something the very rich “popular” girls do.
I wonder how the sweet 16 thing even started....
...I'd also love to see a video on why it fell out of public favor.
I remember watching that because it happened to be on tv. and of all the unbelievable things that happen, the fact that every single one of those hundreds of people would keep her secret is fucking bull shit!
You've got watch the show for the movie to make any sense at all.
I LOVE the "cousin" bit Seamus! lol
I live in a suburb in north Texas and seeing someone riding a horse doesn’t phase me anymore 😅 I’ve been on runs at a park and have passed by people with horses
It’s my third comment under one video, which has never happened before. I love this channel already. I have so many reactions to watch. I’m hyped 😹
6:46 I think the only canon there is that Roxy, her future bodyguard and then-mall cop, stopped her from choosing a terrible wig and pointed her towards the perfect one.
