Huh. I dunno bro. It’s a solution, but it’s not the best solution in my opinion. I’d see if you can use your influence, to get this company to make a version that holds an ar15 pistol under the flip up bench seat in the rear. It’d have to be side secured, but I’m sure they could figure that out. Could still have all your attachment points, but it wouldn’t be obvious as hell. I’m more of a subtle person. 🤷♂️ btw, awesome truck. Have the same one more or less in blue.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 just cut the nylon with a knife. No need for key🤦♂️. Should of just gone and done a couple of tours in the sand to get it out the of the system. Why is there a need to carry an AR in a vehicle? Throw it in the back seat on the way to the range.
386 bucks for what lol you can make it better your self and have all you want for cheeper I think that much is way to much cash to drop on something like that
Legally Armed America I was actually wondering about that part myself Paul. Good lookin product though. It’s just a little out of my price range for now. 😢
@@LegallyArmedAmerica Its still not hard to cut a braided steel cable (you wouldn't even have to cut that). I dont think you've found a better anti-theft system. BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T LOOKED!!! 😄 Sorry Paul. I love ya man. I really do. But your not gonna convince anyone that has more sense than dollars. That that plastic thing is a good idea for carrying a rifle in their truck. Most trucks including yours has underseat storage in the back. Where the rifle is left OUT OF SIGHT! Can you demonstrate a front seat grab? I'm looking for something similiar, but with the ability to grab it over the seat in case of say a road rage incident some guy gets too hot while driving and wants to come yank me out of my vehicle can I quickly grab & go defend myself?
Having that rifle behind you is the very last place you would want it if needed asap. And I'm not just guessing that, but it comes from lots of military and law enforcement training, so I have somewhat of an idea about this whole " tactical thingy "
The way those studs stick out in the back for the rifle attachment will eventually rub the and damage the back of the seat. I wish the would have rounded those. The price is crazy too, I roared some like this off of Amazon for about $48. Basically the same concept, a fraction of the price. Grey man tactical tried, but their prices are crazy.
I don’t think this product is worth buying. It’s wobbly, kinda chinsey, the gun is completely exposed. And easy to steal. I’m not sure if this thing really checks any of the boxes or practical or useful.
flopping around like an epileptic at a rave. I have rigid panels coming and it looks like I will have to make my own mounts to avoid this pathetic "mount" system of nylon straps. I like the BuiltRight system but they dont make mounts for older vehicles like mine.
$400 and all you have to do is undo the straps? I ride in my jeep with doors and roof off. I need something that they'd have to unbolt the seat if they want something bad enough. Show me that lmao
Here is what is happening in my state. During his 2020 Budget Address, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf appeared to have bought-in to the anti-gun narrative that law-abiding gun owners are the problem, not criminals. Coming on the heels of an anti-freedom lobby day by Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action, the Governor’s proposed gun control agenda includes: Extreme gun confiscation measures often referred to as “red flag” laws that authorize the seizure of firearms without due process. Criminalizing private transfers of firearms. Imposing punishments on victims that have had their firearms stolen. Creating firearm storage laws that remove a homeowner’s ability to quickly access their own firearm for self-defense. This agenda is straight from former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his anti-gun largesse, driven by his front-groups Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action. These bills have one thing in common; they don’t go after criminals, they target law-abiding gun owners and the Second Amendment. Following Governor Wolf’s speech, it is more important than ever that Pennsylvania’s gun owners, hunters and sportsmen stay-vigilant and take action during the 2020 Legislative Session. I love this series! I've been wanting to do this to my vehicle. Well done on the visuals too, mate. I can see you take your time and think these through. Keep em coming!
Is it the hex grid panel? I've seen them at the 5.11 store and it's not very rigid. In addition, I have one for a backpack, and attaching regular molle on it can be tricky, especially if using plastic clips like what HSGI uses.
Have you find a cover for it? I was thinking of modifying a garment bag to hide everything. I don't want to spook law enforcement who see me driving with an AR.
I have one on my passenger seat in my dodge ram 3500, it holds a cz scorpion evo3 and it came with a nice cover for gun concealment. The way I have mine set up, from the driver seat, you can get the scorpion in hand in a couple of seconds.
You do realize most people don’t have the money to justify spending close to $400 on what amounts to a molle seat back. There are tons out there for around $40 - $75 You need to start reviewing gear the average consumer can afford. Sure it’s nice they sent it to you for free, but come on.
I sought them out because these were the panels I wanted. I was prepared to purchase them. I was very interested in something not built cheaply in China that was very rigid. Thanks man!
BayouVibes how did I ignore your point? I literally acknowledged you. Would you prefer “I was not aware everyone can’t afford $400, you were right”. Because that’s not what I think. I heard the words you said and disagree. It’s going to be ok. I still appreciate your opinion and feedback.

Not a good idea being in plain view, wouldn't take someone long to break a window and cut the straps.
A lock locks it to the seat frame.
@@LegallyArmedAmerica oh, it looked to me like you could cut the straps and take the whole thing and get the gun off later
