As TSDS I play a large selection of games and offer entertaining gameplay videos and guides on my channel. If you like what you see then feel free to stick around.
Also, if you wish to support me directly, feel free to head over to my ko-fi page at ko-fi.com/toms... (donations are absolutely not required and all of my content will remain free and on TH-cam).
Enjoy.
Antitower boiiii
And now for some announcements:
1) As you may have seen, in March my guides were pulled from consolegameswiki.com because they now have a rule against self promotion and I was the one who added my guides there. It's a dumb rule and I've had guides on that site for 6 years so it's a shame to see them pulled. Basically my guides can be on the site, but only if someone else adds them. So you know. That's a thing.
2) In other news I've beaten the entire MSQ for the first time ever. I am 'free' to do anything I like which is odd. Loved the story though, some fantastic dungeons and music.
3) Crabs are people.
4) I have decided to gear my Paladin first, then healer. Healing is very easy so feels like cheating and being a dps is too much work. Tanking and taking charge is always fun so I've been "enjoying" learning my real PLD rotation in elite roulette.

Anyway, enjoy the guide!
Just got to this point in the MSQ and was surprised to see this was uploaded 2 days ago, absolutely love your guides and thank you!
Hey that's pretty good timing then. Glad to help!
Ziggy....Stardust. Bravo, localization team.
Your guides are the absolutely best. Thanks for the video
Hey no worries, cheers!
Calcabrina the twerking Chuckie! Love it!
glad you made this thanks!
No worries, I'm glad you're glad!
Thanks for the guide!
No worries!
Thanks, Labyrinth.
unless this video is covering a new mode this dungeon came out in heavenward as i did it in heavensward story
It's Heavensward content covered during Endwalker - so we're all currently playing Endwalker right now but this content is from the Heavensward expansion. Basically this video could be different if the current game was Heavensward so the expansion in the title tells you what version of the game was active at the time of creation.
A twerking chucky. ROFL
Just curious why you pick dungeons for guides over any other content?
Well, content like what? I will make other stuff relating to FF if I have ides but my aim is to cover every MSQ dungeon/trial.
And then at some point I will start making non-FF related stuff again 👍
@@TomScottDoesStuff Idk, extremes, savages, ultimates, eureka, bozja, pvp - anything that isn't self-explanatory. MSQ stuff is inherently made to be easy to understand intuitively and isn't something a lot of people look up resources for.
Eureka & Bozja I've not even started myself. PVP maybe but I've not done much pvp in the game and that was years ago. I have thought about it but the timesink required to gain sufficient knowledge that I could then teach to players is huge. My wife does pvp every night though.
For harder difficulties, I just don't do them myself. I'm not against actually raiding but I have a limited amount of free time and my FC is not active. All of my guides are me going solo in the duty finder but pugging something with some actual difficulty isn't fun.
+ plenty of people want to watch guides before they enter this type of content even if it's relatively easy for me or you & with the shear number of dungeons and trial that remain relevant in this game beyond their expansion, making guides actually helps me to permanently remember each location.
The argument that things are too easy to need a guide is generally a fallacy. No one knows how hard something is beforehand if they're going in blind - and considering a lot of bosses do have instant death mechanics it's not a bad idea to read up first especially if you're healing or tanking. Plus while dungeons may be more forgiving, MSQ trials in the latter half of the game are not always that easy, especially on your first attempt - even if you looked up tactics. Going in blind to those will definitely put you on the ground. There is no intuitive understanding for selenomancy etc.
I wont make non-guide content just for the sake of making videos but if I think of a good idea for a video I will still do it. I just like to wait until a good idea comes along. I have killed ideas in production if they stop being relevant or don't quite work how I wanted them to.
Anyway, hope that answers your question!
i think u may be a little late on this one
Late? Fam I've not even left the house yet.
