    Agreed, everyone is able to rank the top 30 (what a lot of channels do) but only the best scouts can find diamonds in the lower rounds, those kinds of videos are very precious and can turn well with time. Thanks for your good job Medved! Appreciate a lot Pautov, he can be a steal with his size and the russian factor he can slide a bit and project like a cane future pick lol. Do you have any thoughts or any footage on the goaltender Kirill Zarubin, get tons of hard shots but can stay in the .900 SV pc. According to his stats he's the most efficient goalie of the draft because the quality and quantity of shot he blocked.

    Great Video! Siryatsky is a personal favourite of mine as well. Curious to hear your thoughts on Novosibirsk’s Ilya Lyuzenkov? He’s kind of perplexed me this year by showing really good flashes of speed and skill but the consistency isn’t there yet.

      I feel the same way about Lyuzenkov. There were a couple games I watched where he was flying and creating tons of chances and others where he was completely invisible. He's a fun player but I don't think he'll ever play in NA. Hopefully he trends up and can have a good KHL career so we can keep watching him.

    Looks like you should scout for the Hurricanes because they went all in on your draft list & snagged Roman Shokhrin, Fyodor Avromov, & Alexander Siryatsky.

    Nice list
    would you be doing more in depth analysis for players

      That's the plan. I have a couple more multi player videos in the works but I'm going to make some more in depth videos on individual players soon.

    Any toughts on Daniil Anatsky? He has a good frame, had a good season as well. So i wonder if some teams might be interested in him.

    • @MedvedProspekt34
      @MedvedProspekt34  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I honestly wasn’t a big fan of Anatsky this season. He lacks speed or any explosiveness to be able to carry the puck on his own for longer than a few seconds. I didn’t like his decisions with the puck either. He has a nice shot and was able to finish at a decent rate but I attribute a majority of his points to Nikita Surayev who did literally everything for that SKA Yunior team. It’s definitely possible that some team uses a 7th round pick on him to see how he develops but I would personally pass due to his poor skating and inability to make a real impact without the puck

    Pautov: Philadelphia
    Avramov, Siryatsky, Shorkrin: Carolina

      @@MedvedProspekt34 What do you think of the other Russians Carolina drafted? Namely Nikita Artamonov, Timur Kol, and Andrei Krutov?

    • @MedvedProspekt34
      @MedvedProspekt34  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@matthewp3499 Artamanov is one of my favorite players from this draft. He plays the game with a ton of energy and battles super hard every shift. Some people didn’t like his offensive upside but he has signs of great vision and his speed/handling ability make me confident that he could play 3rd line in the NHL. I wasn’t as high on Kol but he’s a smooth skating defenseman with a good shot. He’s a bit careless with the puck and in his own end but will likely improve over time. I talk about both of those guys in my first video here: th-cam.com/video/UgD8uEA1psw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jW_XiXMDQjdwPb8r Krutov is a reach imo. He is undersized and doesn’t control play the way you want to see NHL caliber prospects play the game. He’s super skilled and pulls off some highlight reel plays from time to time.

      @TheZenomeProject 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MedvedProspekt34 To be fair, Krutov was the 6th-to-last pick in the entire draft. That would be the time to swing in the dark on an undersized skill guy.

    Avramov is the type of player you need on your team.

    Very surprised nobody mentions Ilya Nabokov, ik he’s not the biggest guy but the numbers speak for themselves. And he’s not even that bad with the higher shots which is the main concern with smaller goalies.

    • @DavidPhillips464
      @DavidPhillips464 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nabokov is a pretty decent goaltender and is an athletic freak. He does need to round out some of his game smarts & positioning to become a truly top end goalie.

      @MedvedProspekt34  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't know goalies well but he's been good all year. A big reason why Metallurg is succeeding in the playoffs.

    I know Pautov is a long shot from an impactful nhler but every time I’ve watched his team he jumps out so much.

      He's really fun. A ton of skill and has scored some gorgeous goals this year but he doesn't have enough tools for me to think he'll play in NA. Hopefully continues to develop because he's a ton of fun to watch.

    • @jeremybenisrael
      @jeremybenisrael 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As a Flyers fan I'm hopeful he pans out as his speed and skill would be fun to watch, despite his smaller size. We'll see. Still a long way to go. Can you imagine him and Michkov together?
