To all the people saying sporty SUVs are a waste not every country in the world has good roads where u can hoon cars like Lambo or porsche, or even sporty sedans like M5s and RS6s. Thats where SUVs like the Urus, Cayenne and F pace are really useful. You dont have to worry about scrapping ur shiny sports cars and you can get over huge speed bumps and pot holes without any worry while enjoying a sporty comfortable machine. ..........Sorry for bad english
this will be appropriate if it would had an offroad suspension. But it has the same chassis as giulia quadrifoglio. It is a smart move. And a perfect car for show off and racing. But not offroad forget it. It need flexibility and height in offroad. Although I really appreciate this alfa, as a hit for other SUV makers, this will kick their balls.
As an Italian I'm proud of hearing such a good job was made by our craftsmanship. From such a reputable and indipendent voice. (If you find yourself in south Italy let me know)

Bravo to alfa for producing 2 great cars in the giulia and stelvio. In the past you would buy 1 for its looks or engine. Now its pretty much the complete package that competes with the best. 👏👏👏
I got 2018 Stelvio TI Sport and I love it. Handles like a sports car not like an suv. It is really addictive to drive. That oversteer while cornering is so much fun. You can do that on a regular Stelvio too. Their Q4 drive is brilliant. The front end kicks in right when you need it. Best driving SUV 100%. I can only imagine how Quadrifoglio drives...probably better than sex.
Love the video, I have the Guilia Quadrifoglio and that's an amazing car. I haven't driven the Stelvio but all reports suggest it's as good as the Guilia. I traded my C63 in for Quad and what an amazing car. Love your reviews they don't appear to be as "commercial " as other TH-camrs.

The giulia is just as beautiful and special if not more. Buuuuuut, there's something about the Stelvio that gets my heart beating even faster than the Giulia. I think it's the "forbidden fruit" aspect about it. For instance, nobody feels like they should really enjoy an SUV this much or have this much fun with it. But then you do. That's the feeling this Stelvio invokes within me. I feel like I shouldn't love it and get this big of adrenaline rush but it just gives that rush! It's truly special and within a category of its own. Nobody ever experiences this from a SUV.

I have seen a light blue Quadrifoglio on the road. I would buy it that color, it's beautiful. Also, I would prefer going with the Giulia Quadrifoglio, but that would mean I'd need another car for winter. So if I could buy one, I would go with the Stelvio and its all-around character, fun for every season and practicality to use as an excuse for owning it.
So first James i would love to see you buying one of these :) the alfisti are a big family and we would love to see you joining our family ;) second i prefer the Giulia but just because i‘m the typical sedan type of guy... but for me the Stelvio is the best SUV on the market... fastest on the Nordschleife aswell ;D so for you i guess it would be perfect to replace the RS6 and the Range Rover as one car ;) would be an practical car for everyday but also a car which would perfectly fit into the channel. So i‘m hoping that all goes well and we see you buying one of these ;) and again brilliant Video ;)
Alfa has really surprised me this year. This spec looks gorgeous, would have this over the current Macan. A Merc GLC63 deserves a shout though, but honestly I think I would go with the Alfa partly due to the rarity of them. Awesome video as well.
I love the video, it seems so odd hearing that sound from an SUV, especially in those outside shots. The car looks fabulous and sounds amazing, hope the reliability isn't like a normal alfa.
For those that don't understand the sporty suv phenomenon. Sure its not a super car. Its a super suv Perfect vehicle for the urban road. Ballsy yet practical. roomy,able to be roughly driven and and can handle a roads inconsistencies. There is a time and a place for your luxury or sport vehicle. This is your happy everyday medium.
