Prof... just thank you man. I'm an undergrad doing my final year... Your videos give me the mojo to start and finish. Thank you, God bless you and never stop doing what you do.
Your tips make sense, I used to be great at writing papers but when I entered my Sophomore year I got lazy and started using Chatgpt and Copilot AI to write my papers. I now have to relearn basic writing as I'm starting a college writing course this coming semester.
Pleased to hear you found it helpful! It’s a skill like any other, and it can get rusty. Definitely join my fb group if you’re getting value from our training. We have more longer form masterclasses and live workshops where you can even submit your questions and research for our direct feedback
You are saving me for writing my draft, I intuitively started writing my methods first, but then the deadline for the draft started getting closer and I was like okay let’s go with writing the introduction first and then continue (they taught us literally to write your introduction first) but hell if I don’t have the introduction fully finished, but I do have my methods and results and written out what’s the harm? There is none cause the first draft and feedback is just for me getting feedback to improve anyway and doesn’t count towards my grade in any way. Really needed someone to tell me this 👏🏻
Thank you so much for this Prof. Stuckler! Same here. I also start with either method or results, then discussion and conclusion, in order for me to get the most related literature for the introduction! Love this video!
Yup, very helpful 👍 I thought I could research while writing and it was a disaster! I put data that should be in the analysis in the background and wrote a superlong introduction. Some parts should had been in the background. I kept discovering research papers that brought a new perspective to my problem so I kept readjusting my initial idea. Etc etc etc😂🤦
Make sure to reference and cite! This helps justify your gap in the intro, where you need to highlight what is the debate and what has already been done. It is also especially useful for the conclusion where you interpret your findings in light of existing scholarship. Join my Fb group fasttrackgrad and we can connect directly there

Bless this man, Dear God, amen.
I would like to know how do we incorporate the literature that already exists . How do we make it easy ? Like how do we organize it ?
Do we go like I'm gonna take this line from this one and that line from that one and rephrase . What if we use the same reference another place ?
