Idk if Ai Yazawa will ever finish the story. But in it's own way, I think it's perfectly fitting that the animation has such an abrupt ending. It's consistent with the theme of heartbreak. It's like we all got dumped as viewers by the show. Now we have to move on but mourn this relationship so close to our hearts.
The story is mature, down to earth, but also heartbreaking. Sometimes we don’t need fantasy, we need something so real, so real that attached to our life, our soul

Comencé a ver Nana cuando estaba pasando por un momento difícil, estaba en una relación tóxica, yo era dependiente emocionalmente mientras la otra persona me ignoraba siempre que podía. Este anime era lo único que me alegraba el día en su momento, aunque recuerdo también escuchar esta playlist para reconfortar mi llanto. Esas noches no sabía que pensar ni qué hacer. Noches horribles de dolor y confusión... Planeaba irme... Pero no pude. ya ha pasado 8 meses desde eso... Y aunque este soundtrack me recuerda a la ansiedad alta y depresión que solía pasar por culpa de mi ex; no deja de ser reconfortante y acogedora.
Whenever I hear anything from Nana the story replays in my head and it's magical like I'm rewatching the show for the first over and over again I will always love this show and I'm so happy with that and I want to remeber nana when I move into my first apartment and the first furniture I will buy a glasses with little red strawberrys on them and I will be happy for awhile till I'm not but in the end I will be happy and I'll be with the people I love most even if it's only in my heart
