I've heard of upgradeable guides including ceramic guides. Does machinery warehouse stock those or an equivalent "better" guide
Hi John, The BP-310 Bandsaw has ball bearing blade guides which provides great support and smooth operation due to the nature of this set up, But to answer your question we don't have any ceramic guides.
@@Machineryhouse1930 The reason I asked is because I've read, which may or may not be true, that the bearings are hard to adjust for narrow blades. Maybe they're isolated cases.

Bandsaws require semi regular replacement of the wheel tyres. Do you supply replacement bad saw tyres? if so how much are they?

looking at buying one as my 3rd big purches after this a small scroll saw how will this handle bowl blanks?

Firstly yes it can handle blanks pending size you intend to cut versus machines capacities etc. but as always with everything with band-saws blade choice and machine power dictate how fast you can cut solid blanks. Please visit our showroom as would be more than happy to demonstrate for you. Bring some timber with you and see if it meets your requirements. can it take 3mm wide blades? if not what's the smaller blade size?
