I was a Winx girlie and I think the only reason I wasn't just as obsessed with W.I.T.C.H was simply because it's main form of media was the magazine that my parents could not afford to get me. Yet, I do own two highly treasured issues of the magazine and two comic books, which I have read over and over! The abundance of colours and styles in those was iconic.

I'm so glad that I could read those comics as a kid and now as an adult I'm obsessed with them just the same. I also feel like W.I.T.C.H. was never forgotten here in Poland. The comic books are even published here again now. But I must say that as a child I never fully realized how stylish those girls were! wow!!! I also remember we had those books like 100 tips on how to make friends/maintain a relationship/have fun (I'm not sure they were published in English, so I'm just translating from my language). Yes I used to get ready in the morning extra quick so I'd have time left over to check out the morning run of winx club on TV before going to school. But w.i.t.c.h. magazine was my Favorite! I'd buy it as soon as a new one came out and would read the whole thing in the music school cafeteria before singing lessons. Idk what kinda girl that makes me but I know that I was obsessed with w.i.t.c.h. and still love it. My mom threw away my magazines at some point but I later bought them second hand. I'm missing a few volumes sadly but I'd like to collect the new yen press editions. Anyway, as a kid I loved Cornelia because I wanted to be an earth type. I'm not blonde and her style wasn't me as a kid though. Nowadays I do really love my maxi skirts so maybe she influenced me a bit there. I remember copying an illustration of her figure skating and being so proud of it. I'd be so down for a w.i.t.c.h. resurgence.

speaking from Portugal here. Witch was pretty big here. We had access to the magazines, merchandising, dolls, costumes, etc. It always had a competition with winx, as it is a bit similar and (because of it's own production problems) it ran short on the television. And winx went on for like a billions seasons. So maybe that's why a lot of people don't mention it so much or don't remember it

I think one of the reasons I loved it so much, especially their fashion was it wasn't the hyper bright block colour pallet a lot of cartoons and kids shows used. Like I was such an annoying child I always wanted muted earth tones or more aged looking clothes, so I loved W.I.T.C.H. Also Cordelia was my favourite and I swear like half my wardrobe is long skirts or dresses and earth toned cardigans

W.I.T.C.H is such nostalgia for me. Loved the comics (seen the TV show, but that was not my vibe. Though I'm glad they stuck to 2 seasons, since the comics should have ended long ago) and loved that you did a video about it! Elyon was my favourite but outfit inspiration came from Hay-lin.
I really loved that show. When i first watched it my favourite was cornelia purely because it was the first time i saw a character with the same name as me but it quickly changed to hay lin

If we're going with a magical girl theme then I'd absolutely die for a shugo chara lookbook! Another series (not even remotely close) I'd think would be interesting to see is criminal minds. I know it's not the most fashionista series but everythime I watch an episode I'm left thinking: "What exactly is the FBI dress code??"

omg I LOVED W.I.T.C.H., though I only read the magazine and never watched the show. Cornelias and Irmas fashion choices continue to influence me to this day (and I read it 20 years ago). Thanks for making this video!

Yes I used to get ready in the morning extra quick so I'd have time left over to check out the morning run of winx club on TV before going to school. But w.i.t.c.h. magazine was my Favorite! I'd buy it as soon as a new one came out and would read the whole thing in the music school cafeteria before singing lessons. Idk what kinda girl that makes me but I know that I was obsessed with w.i.t.c.h. and still love it. My mom threw away my magazines at some point but I later bought them second hand. I'm missing a few volumes sadly but I'd like to collect the new yen press editions.
Anyway, as a kid I loved Cornelia because I wanted to be an earth type. I'm not blonde and her style wasn't me as a kid though. Nowadays I do really love my maxi skirts so maybe she influenced me a bit there. I remember copying an illustration of her figure skating and being so proud of it.
I'd be so down for a w.i.t.c.h. resurgence.

I never read the books but I remember when the show was being promoted, I felt like it was a younger show and not necessarily for me in middle school. But I also tended to watch shows above my age-group usually even with anime or other cartoons

I remember asking my mom to get me the magazine every Wednesday, I had the best time reading the articles, comics and of course spending too much time taking quizzes, but it was the best ✨🌸
speaking from Portugal here. Witch was pretty big here. We had access to the magazines, merchandising, dolls, costumes, etc. It always had a competition with winx, as it is a bit similar and (because of it's own production problems) it ran short on the television. And winx went on for like a billions seasons. So maybe that's why a lot of people don't mention it so much or don't remember it

Okay my request for a tv show lookbook would be: sex and the city! I recently rewatched it and I really enjoyed their outfits and how each character had their own personal style. I also think New girl would be interesting to do (especially Jess has a fun style, but nick and Schmidt also have signature outfits/style). And for anime, maybe you could do one piece? I always gravitated towards the WITCH series. Love the art style and fashion, and the way the girls' sisterhood made me happy.
I think one of the reasons I loved it so much, especially their fashion was it wasn't the hyper bright block colour pallet a lot of cartoons and kids shows used. Like I was such an annoying child I always wanted muted earth tones or more aged looking clothes, so I loved W.I.T.C.H.
Also Cordelia was my favourite and I swear like half my wardrobe is long skirts or dresses and earth toned cardigans
