FINALLY people are talking about W.i.t.c.h they are always left out the conversation when it comes to magical girls. the sweet yet dark aesthetic in the show always inspired my style
Hating Winx because the cartoon started coming out when the W.I.T.C.H. comics were already a thing was my whole personality as a kid lol W.I.T.C.H. is so insanely underrated but I hope it stays so so that Netflix doesn't get its hands on it, godspeed.
IMMEDIATELY had to watch this!! The W.I.T.C.H show and the comics were my life! I remember getting the magazine and it coming with a mini charm heart of kandrakar, I felt so soooo cool even though no one else I knew seemed to watch or read it
The Winx girlies vs W.I.T.C.H. girlies war was SO REAL when I was a kid and as a W.I.T.C.H. fan, im proud to say I was on the right side of fashion history
I lived in Europe at the time, and there were W.I.T.C.H. magazines for young girls. I adore the OG art so I picked up a few of them, even though I hadn't learned the language yet. They're just so cute ♡
I loved W.I.T.C.H comics as a kid and I even had a special style guide magazine that was witch themed. I was reasing the magazine and the comics we had in our small library, read the ya books, watched the tv show...totally loved it! I feel like it was a big thing in Europe, not enough people talk about it. I was into both W.I.T.C.H and winx club, both were so good.
THIS was the magical girl series for me as a kid. I think I actually watched W.I.T.C.H. more than Wynx club but as I grew up I just assumed people were talking about W.I.T.C.H. when they brought up Wynx lmao. I even had a little happy meal (?) toy of one of them and I remember being obsessed with their tights!
My friends and I were obsessed with WITCH. I had the graphic novels as a kid, and their outfits definitely remain in my mind as fashion inspiration to this day.
Oh! A cartoon villains video would be so fun! 💖 (I don’t actually know this WITCH series but these outfits were so cute, and the ones from the comics! I wish I had seen this series as a kid now, for sure.)
I love when TH-camrs I watch mention each other. It was just too coincidental that you made this video after Lisa had released her deep dive, so I had a feeling that you saw it 😆 Edit: 8:04, 10:10, 11:02, 12:51, & 13:33 are my fav outfits. I had only watched the show growing up but I would love to read the comics one day, this series is definitely underrated and I would love to see a part two styling the villains ❤
ahhh I LOVE THIS!!! I still regret so much having to "declutter my childhood stuff" and getting rid of all my WITCH magazines ;_;... I wish I still had them, I loved the art style (and the styling) so much! oh and now that you're showing Cardcaptor Sakura in the magical girls clips, I would love if it you did styling inspired by it! (also I feel like the vibes of CCS are kind of trendy somehow again??? Sandy Liang also often uses the sort of wing illustration similar to CCS and seems to put her in moodboards and stuff sometimes)
Omg! I never clicked so fast on a notification 😂 W.I.T.C.H. were my girls when i was a kid! I was obsessed with them, and i was so upset cause no one else seemed to really know the magazine or the show 😢 loved the video and the fits ❤
I saw witch and I never clicked so fast🌟 Edit: I’m from Europe and I remember begging my parents to get an Abo for the Magazin. And I was so happy when my parents bought one for me and the Magazins monthly arrived at my home. I had it till they canceled the Magazin. And I still have all of those magazines
I'm so glad that I could read those comics as a kid and now as an adult I'm obsessed with them just the same. I also feel like W.I.T.C.H. was never forgotten here in Poland. The comic books are even published here again now. But I must say that as a child I never fully realized how stylish those girls were! wow!!! And your interpretations of their styles were amazing as well
I'm so happy to see some WITCH content! Used to be a fan of the comics as a kid and I remember that in one of the magazines a turquoise ring was included as a gift and I was obsessed with it, it was so pretty and got a lot of compliments on it
i loved W.I.T.C.H!! i think vibe-wise the most accurate you got was Will's and the least one was Cornelia's. I love your tv show concepts btw please keep them coming
When you were talking about how Cornelia isn't the usual trope of blond girl fashionista, I instantly thought of another blond girl fashionista who doesn't fit that trope and it's Stacey from babysitters club which is a super long book series that I've not yet finished as well as having a movie and a live action TV series, and I just feel like it would be so cool if you did a fashion lookbook video for the babysitters club! All seven or so of them!
I was a Winx girlie and I think the only reason I wasn't just as obsessed with W.I.T.C.H was simply because it's main form of media was the magazine that my parents could not afford to get me. Yet, I do own two highly treasured issues of the magazine and two comic books, which I have read over and over! The abundance of colours and styles in those was iconic.
I think one of the reasons I loved it so much, especially their fashion was it wasn't the hyper bright block colour pallet a lot of cartoons and kids shows used. Like I was such an annoying child I always wanted muted earth tones or more aged looking clothes, so I loved W.I.T.C.H. Also Cordelia was my favourite and I swear like half my wardrobe is long skirts or dresses and earth toned cardigans
So awesome you made a video about W.i.t.c.h.! I used to love the magazine when I was growing up, it always had some extra content about their outfits, room decor etc. along with the comic. It was awesome! I didn't like the cartoon at first because it was so different but I gave it a second chance this weekend and actually really loved it even with all the changes. But I so agree that the fashion was better in the comic. Hay-Lin is the queen of style and I also liked a lot of Elyon outfits. Maybe I need to visit my parents to go through the magazine stash for some more outfit inspo haha
I love W.I.T.C.H.! This was perfect! Hay Lin was always my favourite, but Irma is a close second. Would've loved to have seen Elyon inspired looks too, but she didn't have that many, so that's understandable.
In Europe w.i.t.c.h. was super popular, comics novels merch we had it all! Totally agree that it's SO underrated in terms of outfits and aesthetic, it's impressive just how many fits they drew the girls in, and they mostly all looked like something you'd actually find in real life. You nailed the outfits! The Irma and Will ones are probably my favourites
It’s wild I forgot WITCH existed because I live in the United States where I don’t think it was as popular so I had literally ONE of the witch comic books. Love this vid!!!!
W.I.T.C.H is such nostalgia for me. Loved the comics (seen the TV show, but that was not my vibe. Though I'm glad they stuck to 2 seasons, since the comics should have ended long ago) and loved that you did a video about it! Elyon was my favourite but outfit inspiration came from Hay-lin.
I never clicked so quickly. W.I.T.C.H. was my life as a kid. I feel like it was definitely very popular at one point. W.I.T.C.H. would’ve suited Netflix’s darker vibe so much better for the Winx series. Such a missed opportunity.
one of my best friends from primary school was a massive fan of W.I.T.C.H. I didn't watch it as a kid but I had it on my to watch list for a long time. You mentioning maybe doing a video about it last year was the thing I needed to move it to the top and finay watch it.
If we're going with a magical girl theme then I'd absolutely die for a shugo chara lookbook! Another series (not even remotely close) I'd think would be interesting to see is criminal minds. I know it's not the most fashionista series but everythime I watch an episode I'm left thinking: "What exactly is the FBI dress code??"
I discovered W.I.T.C.H. At BLOCKBUSTER. Now that’s a real throwback. I always found the things like that, that weren’t really popular in my area I guess. I remember having a little figure of one of the girls though, from McDonald’s I think. And then it felt like a fever dream as I got older because no one knew what I was talking about 😂
love love love this video & all of the outfits! my favorite might also be that one corneila outfit but its hard to decide. also ur lashes look so cute here! alsoooo veronica mars mentioned...us veronica mars truthers WON
I would love to see your take on a Cardcaptor Sakura lookbook! Especially bc she has so many cute "battle outfits" made by Tomoyo ehehehe (tbh I would LOVE to see a lookbook with multiple CLAMP series along with CCS but I'm not sure if you're into any of them?)
omg I LOVED W.I.T.C.H., though I only read the magazine and never watched the show. Cornelias and Irmas fashion choices continue to influence me to this day (and I read it 20 years ago). Thanks for making this video!
I collected the WITCH comics like crazy as a kid. Unfortunately they got discontinued in The Netherlands. So I have some German versions that did go on longer.
I love your film, animation, and tv inspired look books! I would love to see a comic book outfit inspired video, like X Men! If you look at a lot of older comics there are some cool outfits as lots of artists started out learning fashion/advertising illustration.
I never read the books but I remember when the show was being promoted, I felt like it was a younger show and not necessarily for me in middle school. But I also tended to watch shows above my age-group usually even with anime or other cartoons
didn't grow up watching cartoons so i'd never heard of this series, but all the inspo from the comics you showed were wonderful! and i'm always down for any video from you let's be real. love the new background btw!!
i have never watched this series, but those outfits are to DIE FOR!❤ Will is now my new style inspo i love her outfits soo much!!! on the subject of shows I loved as a kid, Tokyo Mew Mew (or Mew Mew Power in English lol 😅) was my all time fave!! although I don’t remember much about the characters regular outfits, I loved their magical girl transformations and their maid outfits 😂

Ahh I love your videos! You have inspired me so much to get more into fashion and accessorizing, your style is just so playful and fun! You've motivated me to donate all the clothes I didn't like but kept just because I've had them for years and start thrifting pieces that actually make me excited to get dressed up.
YES FINALLY SOMEONE ❤ I'm from italy and i couldnt wait for the magazine to come evey single time they didnt miss when it comes to fashion 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I STILL HAVE MY WILL FROG MUG AND IT'S MY FAVOURITE OF ALL TIME
Finally! I've been recommending a style video for W.I.T.C.H for a few years now, so glad you've decided to cover it ❤️indeed, the name is tricky to search for it you don't write it exactly as it is.
I really loved that show. When i first watched it my favourite was cornelia purely because it was the first time i saw a character with the same name as me but it quickly changed to hay lin
speaking from Portugal here. Witch was pretty big here. We had access to the magazines, merchandising, dolls, costumes, etc. It always had a competition with winx, as it is a bit similar and (because of it's own production problems) it ran short on the television. And winx went on for like a billions seasons. So maybe that's why a lot of people don't mention it so much or don't remember it
You just unlocked a core memory of me frothing at the mouth trying to collect all the W.I.T.C.H. graphic novels. This video was a lot of fun to be reunited with a series that I haven’t visited in a really long time 😊 I would love to see your interpretation of outfits inspired by Female Leads of K-dramas.
Didn't watch the show nor read the comics but I looove this videos, don't care If i don't know the shows, just here for the inspo🙏🏼You always hit the spot!!

Can I request cartoon network girls, like KND, Mandy, Teen Titans, Dee Dee, Frankie, fashion inspiration ideas.
The early 2000s was peak tween fashion and this proves it.
FINALLY people are talking about W.i.t.c.h they are always left out the conversation when it comes to magical girls. the sweet yet dark aesthetic in the show always inspired my style
Hating Winx because the cartoon started coming out when the W.I.T.C.H. comics were already a thing was my whole personality as a kid lol
W.I.T.C.H. is so insanely underrated but I hope it stays so so that Netflix doesn't get its hands on it, godspeed.
this show was everything to me as a child and the fashion truly awakened something in me. & kid me also thought they were supposed to be like 17!!
I used to wear swimming goggles on my head as a kid because of Hay Lin
W.I.T.C.H was one of my favourite shows as a tween/teen. It always felt a little older than winx club which I also loved.
Finally w.i.t.c.h. is getting the recognition and love it deserves. I rewatched it dozens of times. And I'm so happy you mentioned Lisa!
It's so underrated!!
IMMEDIATELY had to watch this!! The W.I.T.C.H show and the comics were my life! I remember getting the magazine and it coming with a mini charm heart of kandrakar, I felt so soooo cool even though no one else I knew seemed to watch or read it
Omg Same, I think I still have the charm to this day
Yesss I loved that!
ah i had that necklace too and loved it. I actually had a bad fight with my mother because she threw it away
samee
Same! I had dolls of will and Cornelia too!
The Winx girlies vs W.I.T.C.H. girlies war was SO REAL when I was a kid and as a W.I.T.C.H. fan, im proud to say I was on the right side of fashion history
Such an unfair war IMO! Most people just knew W.I.T.C.H. by the tv show, when the comic was *way* prettier and best in narrative than the series 😢
Nah I’m sorry Winx is better than they did the black girl dirty
I lived in Europe at the time, and there were W.I.T.C.H. magazines for young girls. I adore the OG art so I picked up a few of them, even though I hadn't learned the language yet. They're just so cute ♡
I miss the times when we could buy the magazines with all the extras things! this video is such a nostalgic trip for me
I'd love a Jellyfish Princess inspired look book!!!!
One April Fools she'll make up a cartoon with killer outfits and I'll totally buy it.
I loved W.I.T.C.H comics as a kid and I even had a special style guide magazine that was witch themed. I was reasing the magazine and the comics we had in our small library, read the ya books, watched the tv show...totally loved it! W.I.T.C.H has such a special place in my heart omg
My friends and I were obsessed with WITCH. I had the graphic novels as a kid, and their outfits definitely remain in my mind as fashion inspiration to this day.
I would personally love a soul eater look book!
Oh! A cartoon villains video would be so fun! 💖 (I don’t actually know this WITCH series but these outfits were so cute, and the ones from the comics! I wish I had seen this series as a kid now, for sure.)

Would love the paradise kiss lookbook, a chugo chara one and another sailor moon one !
You can do like a alt/ goth lookbook but like not just the currently popular image of it but like all the different types tracing the history.
Omg! I never clicked so fast on a notification 😂 W.I.T.C.H. were my girls when i was a kid! I was obsessed with them, and i was so upset cause no one else seemed to really know the magazine or the show 😢 loved the video and the fits ❤
The way I literally SCREAMED in the car when I saw this notification, I’M SO EXCITED!
I'm a Winx girl if I had to choose, but W.i.t.c.h. is also very close to my heart!!
I saw witch and I never clicked so fast🌟
Edit: I’m from Europe and I remember begging my parents to get an Abo for the Magazin. And I was so happy when my parents bought one for me and the Magazins monthly arrived at my home. I had it till they canceled the Magazin. And I still have all of those magazines
omggg so honoured my video bumped this styling video up in your to do list! ahaha
omg girl I have the same ugly shadow maxi skirt too!
i think this show is having a bit of a renaissance. lisa fevral made an entire youtube deep dive about it a month ago i believe (highly recommend!!)
MY FAVES!!! I used to beg my mom for the magazines when I was a tween!
I'm so glad that I could read those comics as a kid and now as an adult I'm obsessed with them just the same. I also feel like W.I.T.C.H. was never forgotten here in Poland. I know how hard anxiety is to overcome, but girl you DID. IT. and the outfits are sooo cute, you always inspire me! Keep up
I'm so happy to see some WITCH content! Used to be a fan of the comics as a kid and I remember that in one of the magazines a turquoise ring was included as a gift and I was obsessed with it, it was so pretty and got a lot of compliments on it
Cornelia walked so cottage core could run 😂
i loved W.I.T.C.H!! i think vibe-wise the most accurate you got was Will's and the least one was Cornelia's. I love your tv show concepts btw please keep them coming
i had them as dolls omg i was OBSESSED with them
someone else has already mentioned tokyo mew mew but i'd also LOVE to see shugo chara!

A heartbreak high inspired lookbook would eat
I don’t know why I grew up thinking Will was the fire guardian instead

one of my best friends from primary school was a massive fan of W.I.T.C.H.
I didn't watch it as a kid but I had it on my to watch list for a long time. You mentioning maybe doing a video about it last year was the thing I needed to move it to the top and finay watch it.

W.I.T.C.H is the best!!! Their outfits in the comics are so gooooood!! and the art style....!!
Also, another forgotten Magical Girl Series whose fashion I'll cherish forever is Sugar Sugar Rune (albeit I only love the manga, not the anime) 💗
i remember watching the premier of this show and i fell in love
I collected the WITCH comics like crazy as a kid. Unfortunately they got discontinued in The Netherlands. So I have some German versions that did go on longer.
Veronica mars mention omg!!! You should do a video on their style too!!!!
But I also tended to watch shows above my age-group usually even with anime or other cartoons
ok, but the NANA vibes from the animated series op???????????????? I never watched the cartoon, only got the magazines and books, I'm shook
didn't grow up watching cartoons so i'd never heard of this series, but all the inspo from the comics you showed were wonderful! and i'm always down for any video from you let's be real. love the new background btw!!
i have never watched this series, but those outfits are to DIE FOR!❤ Will is now my new style inspo i love her outfits soo much!!!
on the subject of shows I loved as a kid, Tokyo Mew Mew (or Mew Mew Power in English lol 😅) was my all time fave!! although I don’t remember much about the characters regular outfits, I loved their magical girl transformations and their maid outfits 😂
IMO the costumy feeling of Winx unintentionally fits their world building.
Magic is not otherworldly to them. Unlike other magical girl shows who keeps it a secret, magic is in their daily lifes. It's their way of life n their technology. Since magic is casual for them, it's going to reflect onto their fashion n style as well.
W.i.t.c.h does have more wearable cloths, but they don't live in a world where magic is the normality.
If we are going to wear what's Winx, idt ppl go into it expecting themselves to be casual.
Underrated, timeless and ageless. Inspo for dayss!! So obsesseddd✨️💖🧚🏼♀️
Omg I loved Witch, I was obsessed!! I legit think about it a couple times a year still haha 😢
I loved reading the W.I.T.C.H. comics as a child
PLEASE I'VE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS 😭😭 absolutely loved this show back in the day, can't wait to watch this and see your take because you always smash it❤
OMG WE NEVER FORGOT ABOUT W.I.T.C.H OVER HEREEE! I bring the graphic novel up to everyone I know and no one knows what I'm talking about ever
yesss i love w.i.t.c.h bc of their outfits and design/ artwork. living in portugal as a kid i watched the show sometimes i think and i had one magazine that came with a bracelet. i really wanna color merch but here in canada its harder to find and it can be expensive..so wouldve to buy from europe
This was my ENTIRE childhood!!! I had all the comics and I was so obsessed with their style.
Taranee was definetily my favourite back in the day but they were all so iconic in their own ways
I never got into W.I.T.C.H. but tbh this vid makes me want to, the comics look so cool!! Also I know Cardcaptor might be a harder video to make in this style but I think even fits inspired by Sakura's battle costumes would be so cool!
omg yes!! w.i.t.c.h comics were my childhood ❤️
My world's are colliding I also watched Lisa's W.I.T.C.H deep dive
Ahh I love your videos! You have inspired me so much to get more into fashion and accessorizing, your style is just so playful and fun! You've motivated me to donate all the clothes I didn't like but kept just because I've had them for years and start thrifting pieces that actually make me excited to get dressed up.
YES FINALLY SOMEONE ❤
I'm from italy and i couldnt wait for the magazine to come evey single time they didnt miss when it comes to fashion 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I STILL HAVE MY WILL FROG MUG AND IT'S MY FAVOURITE OF ALL TIME
Finally! I've been recommending a style video for W.I.T.C.H for a few years now, so glad you've decided to cover it ❤️indeed, the name is tricky to search for it you don't write it exactly as it is.
I always gravitated towards the WITCH series. Love the art style and fashion, and the way the girls' sisterhood made me happy.
This is amazing, I loved all the different outfits and the reasonings behind them
I was putting off my own analysis, thank you for the KICK I needed!! I crave Tokyo Mew Mew, but also I NEED your take on Trollz!!
I grew up on the graphic novels!! They were my first comics and I found Cornelia so pretty 😂❤ can't believe they were supposed to be tweens
ahem I would love to see a bungo stray dogs lookbook! you have done a few in one video before but a video of entirely bsd would be fantastic!!
The xgirl tshirt outfit for irma is PERFECTT
I really loved that show. When i first watched it my favourite was cornelia purely because it was the first time i saw a character with the same name as me but it quickly changed to hay lin
I was obsessed with the graphic novels in elementary school. Taranee was my favorite character
ruby gloom would be cool!!
