I like in the big ralentando by the soprano solo in the first movement, but I know the words as I "ain't" got long to stay here. Sounds nicer than "han't". I don't think I've heard the other pieces from this setting, so thanks for uploading it!
Omg it took forever to find this! I once performed Deep River for highschool choir and unfortunately the sheet music we were given didn't have an arranger so I could never find the dang thing. I'm so glad I finally found this after years!

I did not know Michael Tippet's music and was really astonished that he wrote such nice music.
Another gorgeous piece by Tippett is "Fantasia Concertante on a Theme of Corelli." Also check out his "Suite for the Birthday of Prince Charles."
