I like to see life that way, whenever I encounter a mean or unpleasant stranger I just assume they’re having a bad day, even on the road if someone cuts me off I say to myself that they didn’t mean to or maybe they’re in a rush to go to a very important meeting or to the hospital or whatever it is.. if someone is driving really slow I imagine they are carrying a new born baby and are extra careful.. whatever the situation is I try and always see the positive, staying a but naiv, I know life isn’t all rainbows and sunshines but it helps me put a positive attitude and like my coworkers always say I help those around me feel better and forget their struggles for a second, you attract what you put out!

Chain reactions like these go on every day, not as fluidly as this but they do exist. And the good thing is, if you make somebody feel good, it starts a chain reaction too. Especially if you deal with somebody nicely who's going to meet lots of people (like a boss or a cashier or a policeman), your small spark of happiness can light a thousand more lights. Whoever you make sad or happy, you shade or light up their social circle. If not in the moment, you definitely will in the long run. Happiness comes from inside strong people and it trickles down to the energy suckers, young people, old people, dominated people, weak people. Be a source of happiness. Don't wait for it to transpire from others, find it within yourself.

Sometimes i feel sad because of curiosity that i have, the fact that i know that i can't get to know everyone out there that walks in the same ground as me. A bunch of decent beings with their own complicated life. Getting into their circle and form friendships with them, knowing their struggle and participate in their lives because there is just so many of us and that i only have a limited set of time on this earth left that i couldn't possibly see or witness everything that i wanted. Then there comes the realization that i have a life i need to take care of, that i feel insignificant about, that may not even matter at all in the grand scheme of things. In the end everyone is just a mere shadow in each one's life.

  • @jajdude

That was great. It reminded me of being in an airport in a foreign country, all tired and disoriented, then going through immigration, and the officer is obviously not in a good mood, and she says a bunch of stuff rapidly in English but with the heavy accent of her native language. Then she is dismayed that I didn't understand her well, though that must happen a lot.

Another thing: don’t invalidate other people’s problems or your own just because someone has it better or worse than you. Comparing their problems to yours and making it a competition will not make anything better. In the end, there is no way to determine who suffers more, so don’t judge people based on what they go through.

I’m more cynical and jaded these days, Since I was young I always realised that there is a complexity and nuance to every single person out there, so always would make effort to be kind and understanding, but given the chance people will roll over you for it 100% of the time, it’s nice to be idealistic and naive, but at the end of the day we’re animals and we are programmed to dominate for status in the group be it friendship, work, family or society, so my advice is recognise the complexity of others...and stop caring for it and utilise it for advantage because it’s the game for all of us, at the end of the day you only have your subjective experience, pain is only real to you, try to avoid it as much as possible

Each of the people in this story don't truly relate to the others in it, except for the last guy. They are relating to stories created in their own minds, unable to see that their thoughts and expectations are mental projections based on self, not upon actually knowing another person. Caught in the belief that what their minds eye says is an accurate gauge of reality they're blind to the truth that their imagined tormentors are just as trapped in their illusions of reality as they are.

I wish more people realized the theme of this video. If we could be these other people that we're impatient with just long enough to understand why they are the way that they are then I think we would all be a lot nicer to each other. Most of my days are shit lately and I do my best not to pass it on. These videos help and these shit days are what make the good ones so good- I/we need these shit days. The shit days have their place, we need them and I'm saying this in the midst of a shit day. I've been on medication that makes the shit days go away, but also the wonderful ones and living in the middle, without the ups and downs is way worse than the ups and downs. I hope that today is one of those wonderful days for anyone reading this :) but if not, if you're having a shit day, you're building the balance for the next great days that you have. Take care folks and... shit again!

I shouldn't have been tempted to think that any of this was funny, but all I could imagine was the and extra story at the end:
"Then, the driver went home to his apartment in Brooklyn, and the street parking was $1.50. He then looked to the sky, and cursed the heavens.
Then, with this being the camel that broke the camel's back, the heavens were having a really bad day having everyone curse them the whole time.
So only for a moment, the heavens let go of the moon, and 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙩𝙝 𝙜𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙤𝙣, 𝙞𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣?

    • @csooov9354
      @csooov9354 4 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      D L
So I got just a lil carried away typing this cause I’ve spent so much time thinking about all this lately, just some shit I got into but it’s def worth reading..
So I literally realized that shit while playing a battle royale game.. kept losing in what could be considered unlucky ways n I was pissed, for most of life I used to feel like life is out to fuck me over so naturally I’d feel like that when some unlucky shit happens, then the realization just fuckin bodyslams me like “naw, these people are people too, living their own lives. They’re not just tryna fuck me over, they don’t even know who I am. It’s not that anyone else wants me to lose, it’s that they want to win for themselves, because just like me, they’re an at least somewhat normal fuckin person and they’re playing the game, they want to win.” Same in life. nobody else (for the most part) wants you to lose, it’s that they don’t want to win. We playing COD, I don’t necessarily want u to lose but I’m tryna win so I’m gon kill your ass 😂 same in life. The reason lots of bad shit happens to you is, hear me out. It’s not because you are you, but it’s because of who you are, if that makes any sense. You can’t change anything associated with you without changing who you are because what you do and have IS ultimately an extension of who you are regardless of what the religious people may tell you. Sayyyy Idk you always have shitty relationships. Girls seem to lose interest in you after a while of being in a relationship and they leave you. This is literally LIFE FEEDBACK telling you that that is the kind of person you are. You get into relationships with girls n they lose interest and leave you. So IF you want to CHANGE that YOU need to become the kind of person that girls DONT lose interest in. Here’s the thing, I wouldn’t say life is a game, (life is life but of course don’t take it too seriously) but things work how they work and whether you believe it or not, everything is (everything works) exactly the way it’s supposed to. Of course there are situations that really shouldn’t be, but that’s how it’s supposed to be. Meaning you have to be accepting to change, if you’re trying a certain way to do something and it’s not working it’s NOT because you are you, it’s because if you want to create a certain outcome or result, the way you are trying to do it just is not the way to do it, that’s not how it works. So this is why I disagree with people that are like “just throw shit at the wall n hope it sticks”, just a little bit of digging into the principles of whatever you’re tryna do you would’ve figured out that that shit wouldn’t have stuck without even throwing it. Keep in mind I said principles of how the game works, not everyone’s opinions of their perceptions of why it should work the way they think it should. I’m talking the core principles of how the shit really works.
Anyway, If you want to change anything in your life, think about it. You have to change who you ARE. Like if you wanna become rich, or fit, or great at a hobby or anything, any kind of change you want, you have to change yourself, you have to become the kind of person you want to be. Put it this way. A person that is a shitty fortnite player isn’t gonna win any matches regardless of how bad they may want it. They have to become a great fortnite player, (which does stem from the desire of wanting to win matches), then they’ll win matches. see what I’m getting at? But the person losing matches loses em because of WHO THEY ARE, BECAUSE they are a shitty player. But the dud who’s WINNING em, it’s cause he’s a good player, it’s cause of WHO HE IS. So basically, ultimately, who you ARE does create your life. Someone who doesn’t make a lot of money, can’t make a lot of money. They have to become someone that CAN make a lot of money, aka learning about money and how to earn a lot of it, and then they can make a lot of money. The way life works is fair, but shit still ain’t fair. Cause yea, shit works how it works regardless of who you are or how you might think it works, but still, you just got a bigass advantage over the next guy that didn’t just read all this shit and doesn’t know, right? Here’s the cold truth, “life”doesn’t want you to lose. But it doesn’t want you to win either. It doesn’t give a fuck whether you become the most successful person on earth or whether you get hit by a fuckin bus when you’re 7 years old. It doesn’t fuckin care. reality is how it is regardless of who you are, the game works how it works regardless of what you think, what you believe, or what you think you believe. U gotta get that, and also, the past is the past, live for the moment. Don’t like the moment? Change it, change yourself, change your life.
Good talk, peace and prosperity, stay woke.
      Spread this around?

However you expose a paradox I think! On the one hand we need difference to make a change in something that's stagnant or stays the same. On the other hand, we benefit in following a laid out structure of success. And being different can either trap you or make you stand out in a good way. It's hard to navigate.

It still does not help knowing she is fucked up because of her dad because my life is actually much worse than her. Therefore it is now almost impossible to feel sympathy towards people and even if I am sorry for someone, I just remind myself that he or she is an asshole anyway.
Life is just a competition of "who is more fucked". I want out and to never return.

I recently had a huge realisation that everyone has a hidden story.
A few months ago, I went on a cruise. On cruises, people are generally very friendly and people of all ages and races talk to each other and make friends for the duration of the voyage. On the first night, I got talking to this lady who was more than 15 years older than me. She was really happy and bubbly people and we hit it off immediately. The banter between her and her sister, and the banter between them and me was amazing, they were constantly joking and funning and laughing. After more than an hour of talking to them, I left thinking "what amazing people, you never see anyone so happy and joyful in 2019! I wish I could be like them!"
The next day, I happened to run into her again. I noticed she had a very long scar on her arm. It turned out she had had a VERY nasty car accident just four months earlier, when another driver had jumped the lights and T-boned her. She almost died and was in intensive care for weeks, with many fractures and damaged organs. She was still in an awful lot of pain, and every day was a huge struggle for her physically and mentally. And not only this, she'd recently been divorced only a year ago. Just 2 months after her near-fatal car accident, and therefore just weeks before the cruise, her boyfriend died of a heart attack.
This lady who I once envied for being so happy, was actually going through the lowest level of HELL, and laughing and joking was her way of trying to cope with the immense physical and mental pain she was in. Every minute to her was a painful struggle not to lose the will to live. And I thought she was the happiest person I'd met in 2019.
Just goes to show, doesn't it?

Steven Power She is the happiest person, because she doesn't let sadness steal her happiness from her. Life is hard for everyone on the planet and we all have different heartaches & obstacles, but the people who are happy within themselves remain so even throughout all of these sad times.

@@northernhemisphere4906 so to know someone is a fool, you would first need to argue with them, but that would make you fool. So the only logical outcome is that, to not to be fool is not to argue at all. But I don't see how that makes any sense, how are the problems of the world supposed to be fixed if not for engaging in an argument
