Thank you for this advice. I think this is crucial to prove oneself efficient, creative, and problem solver from the beginning. This helps to create a positive impression.
Absolutely! And while it's important to be an efficient, creative, problem solving person all the time, if you don't do it at the beginning, things will be much harder moving forward!
AMAZING!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! You put in the work for this and it PAID OFF! Is your new job in-person? If so, keep an eye out for a video soon on tips for your first week in-person. If your new job is remote or hybrid, here's a video that can help! th-cam.com/video/wrCMyjCzXjA/w-d-xo.html
@@LifeWorkBalance THANK YOU 🎁. I did put in the work but you were indispensable. Yes my new job is in-person. I shall keep my eyes peeled. May the good Lord richly bless you and yours 🤓🥂⭐️❤️💐🇬🇧
Thank you so much, I am just hoping I start my teaching job in 🇬🇧 and your tips are really helping for an interview. I come from 🇿🇦and I teach at a Special Education School🇿🇦in South Africa🇿🇦 And I somehow I know I am going to be teaching in 🇬🇧soon.
Good luck during your job search and interview process!! As you have teaching experience, even if it’s in a different country, you have the transferable skills to do the job! You can do this, and I hope you find a job that’s the best fit for you.
Thank you so much but I am quiet content about 🇬🇧, I had so many unnecessary rejections, no feedback, fake interviews, scams and unfortunately some 🇿🇦colleagues🇿🇦 from the current schoo🇿🇦 created such an interesting image that silly recruiters where listening to them yet I didnot add the current school🇿🇦on my resume and because of this the years flew by and time got wasted, if only I had been given that chance instead of being rejected unnecessarily I would have been well established in my career by now. Also I cannot keep on applying otherwise the years will go by and time will be wasted. And furthermore with 🇬🇧 I can immigrate.
Honestly, you can be very successful in a very short period of time! I've found the most successful people I know have fantastic people skills. Sure, some have the technical skills too, but most of the technical stuff is teachable. People skills are harder to teach, thus they are typically more highly valued. Exact same three points and same wording (even unusual formal languages such as "take copious notes" "exhaust all your ressources") than the video "NEVER do THIS your First Week at a New Job!" of Cass Thomson. It really is blatant.
Yikes - I really like Cass Thompson and appreciate her content. I would never intentionally copy her content, and work hard to create my own original content.
@@LifeWorkBalance well maybe u didn't intend to but the end result is that u get the exact same three points with the same wording so u should try to double check next time. And try to make ur own points from ur own experience. I don't mean to be negative because ur video is good and anyway it's not like ur stealing content which worth millions it's just nice little videos :)
