Jetboil with my Sawyer filter and coffee never leave home without it. These items live in my truck and on me when i go in the country, they live on me. Nice vid Kody, can't wait for the start of the 2021 season.
Great video! Enjoyed seeing what you carry for different setups. I always have a little duct tape--good for preventing blisters, good for fire starting, good for first aid, etc.
I appreciate all the videos you guys make they have really helped me out getting prepared for my 1st elk hunt ever, cant wait to get to eastern Oregon in September
Great video. I started watching you guys a couple years back. I’ve always been a big whitetail hunter being that I’m from southern Oklahoma. But I’ve always wanted to go chase elk with my bow, and this year I’m gonna get to make that trip. I always had trouble just getting enough money saved up and just couldn’t bring myself to spend that kind of money. But since I started watching you guys, I told myself I’m not getting any younger and if you wanna do something bad enough then you find a way to make it happen. And that’s what I done this year. I actually got the BRO exo 4800 and from what I’ve seen so far Im very pleased. But good luck to y’all this season, can’t wait for the new videos to come out. We will also be packing camera gear around this year as well to put our hunts on our channel. Hunt hard and stay safe.
Thanks a ton. I am a big guy so I always appreciate larger frame and taller guys talking about their setup. From sleeping to bows I usually have to look a bit harder. My drawlength us 32" so it does not leave many options.

Pieces I never go without: practical- wind checker (milkweed). Comfort piece- coffee. Whether in a thermos or on a jetboil, having that hot cup of coffee on a cold morning is something I've grown to not be able to do without.

One thing I’ve found that’s kinda nice is a hook on my hip strap of my pack to hang my bow on just to give a little rest or to take the weight off your arm on long hikes.
I use a 7 cu ft deep freezer that i put on a hitch mount cargo rack powered by an inverter. So much cheaper than multiple "yeti" type coolers and have an additional freezer at home.

A well presented video on the life saver backpacking setup. You could never 👎 hunt comfortably without it .. your setup has saved us newbies countless hours/years of the ultimate setup and allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the hunt 100%. That roof over your head goes for 11K . Worth every penny. Just have to find a bank to rob..LOL

Question. I shoot a crossbow. Very well qualified and have a license to carry here in Massachusetts to hunt but can no longer use a vertical bow . Would you let me know if Montana, Utah, Wyoming,Colorado or New Mexico allow a hunter to hunt crossbow in any of these states? With a Dr.’s letter of disability? Thank you! PS .. Your temperament mirrors mine . It doesn’t take much for the immotion of the moment to present itself. It may have been our upbringing but it comes down to compassion ,,like how do you feel when you place your hand on your animal.. I think that God has placed his hand on your shoulder..Enjoy your season to come and be safe. I don't know if you've done it before, but I'd love to see what goes into your meal bags. I always seem to struggle finding good variety outside of the freeze dried meals.

I carry a P320 as well. I have a hip belt holster from Ivory Holsters thats designed for an EXO belt. 10 mil kit would be so awesome, hope that really is a sooner than later thing!
Since I was a kid Ive always take an old compass my great grandfather gave me. Not positive it works too well but it’s always in my left pocket
Nice set up Cody . Only one thing missing and that is a book on wild edible plants and medicine ,. Plantain is great for putting on cuts ,it sucks pot poison so no infection . And wild herbs for medicinal medicine.

What is the brand of the holster? I just started carrying last year, have it on the waist belt couldn’t find anything for the Bono harness as I did it last minute.

Idk if anyone else does but I started to pack an extra pair of boot laces!!! Would suck to have a boot lace bust and can’t jimmy rig it to work and have to walk out “x” amount of Miles with no lace on one boot

What's your normal pack weight heading in? What's the max weight you could carry in a hunting pack 10 miles a day if you had 2? What's the heaviest you've carried for 10 plus miles to date and what carrying system did you use? I'm shooting for 100 pounds 10 miles a day 30 days for thru hiking. Will start at 100 pounds end at 60 be carrying 40 pounds of food I won't be hunting. I figured I'd as a hunter because of how heavy Thier packs are compared to thru hikers.

You should offer this as a pre-packaged sale item customer tells you their size and you assemble it based on that and then you label everything maybe as a one and a 2-1 being priority to being an extra I myself would buy one sometimes it's difficult for people to Source out all the individual items you talk about I know it would cost extra but the Simplicity of just calling you up and say hey I'm a 34 waist and I'm a short guy and then you send me everything you're talked about
