@@meliyaps I agree on all your points! AND YES TO KAIRI!!! The voting system is truly frustrating like wdym JiangFan and Royce eliminated and Sirin has a yellow card? The problem is that Rhythm directors don't really direct them... they gave them a song and expect them to do their best on their part. The biggest proof of this was Kwon Heejun & Chih En. Kwon Heejun was barely noticeable and his vocal quality was shown during his performance in Baggy Jeans under Rhythm, but once he moved to Groove, he had a lot more purpose and his vocal color and quality was shown really well. Chih En on the other hand was moved to Rhythm to be a popularity support and vote support and he had the same problem with Kwon Heejun when he was in Rhythm, lack of exposure and opportunity to fully show his quality. What I am trying to say is, Groove trained their member to make the song theirs while Rhythm expected their member to make the song theirs, which was why Groove Prison was more enjoyable, because they perform their own song while Rhythm bench perform a really good cover song. P.S it's not really a dig at Ten tho because he clearly knows what good vocal quality is and what make a good team (you can tell from the way he predict Park Juwon to be taken by Changsub), I just wish he put that into more hands on practice.
I was expecting the groove and bench rhythmn a close fight fr but bruh 101 was a 💀 like the injustice for a flawless performance? To be fair, groove slayed vocally but overall performance was a lil bit confusing? They dance and sing here and there that I dunno what they trying to portray or they just failed to convey the message of the song which Bench rhythm excelled to do so. I admit that bench rhythm have accents (obviously they're all foreigners) live audiences pointed out the language in singing the song but it seems to me they're just trying to justifify them being 'racist' here. They brought out that it's painful to hear the bench rhythm singing the song because of pronunciations or directly hearing the raw vocals but bruh the reactions of other groups and the directors wouldn't lie that it was a good performance❗️
Well, to be fair, they are choosing the team that would release the audio version of the song, and I totally understand them choosing the team that can deliver vocally with good pronunciation and feels to it as pronunciation will affect the feels of a song whether you like it or not. Imagine someone singing a song in your native language, but with accent and unclear pronunciation, you might be able to appreciate the singer's vocal tone, but you won't be able to really enjoy the song fully because you would struggle to connect the words being sang. It is just preference and not necessarily being racist. But I do agree that because of this factor, korean players do have an advantage over non-korean players. That is just the natural thing that happens as this is a Korean show held in Korea. The korean players would face the same problem had they participate in other countries' survival show too. Just my opinion, though.
@sakurahanis 101 score doesn't feel right for me😭 they even surpassed 'Ignition' score 284 while they have 295 without hesitation or even having a second thoughts? Indeed vocals are important but the show is centered on producing kpop idols not professional singers. I'm not trying to highlight dancing skills but knetz have also unreasonable high standards on visuals contrasting with their statement that on music platform you only hear their voices so why the need to have that 'certain' beauty then? Does the face have to be plastered all the time while listening on an album too? It's so funny that they keep going on vocals while several survival shows proved that talents are overshadowed by visuals. The live audience should admit that the performance was visually lacking and no abs to show. Period❗️
@@sakurahanis If they release the song, won't they enhance their vocals, including pronunciation? They won't publish raw vocals, especially in K-pop, where performance matters more than vocals. I don't get your point; are you validating your opinion? If we base on kpop standard I think bench rhytmn team has the upperhand.
@pjuleatttt Well, two things that you have to know that are specific to this round are: 1) The Prison teams are not competing with Ignition teams. The team is competing only with another team that performs the same song. In the previous round, the 3 teams compete with each other using different songs, so both dance and vocal will be equally important. The format for this round is different from the previous round, so the scoring format also changed. For example, there is a father and his 7 yrs old son who enters the archery competition. The father will be in adult categories and compete other adults, while the son will enter the children category and compete with other children. Say the father won with 16 to 14 score, and the son lost 5 to 25 score. You won't compare why the father got 16, while the son only got 5, right? It is because they are not fighting each other and are in two different tournaments, even if they are in the same sport. 2) Two teams are fighting specifically to get the right to release the official audio recording of a song. This is not like the previous round where they just do covers, and that's the end of it. The final aim of this round is totally different from the previous round, so the focus of voting for this round is different. In the previous round, voters get the chance to vote or not to vote for each contestant in each team. So, for example, during Give Me That performance, I think Park Juwon, JL and Steven did a really good job, so I choose to vote only Park Juwon, JL, and Steven, but not the other members of team Rhythm. The same goes for Missing You and Boys Never Die performances. Each voter gets to choose to vote or not to vote for each contestant for all the performances. However, for this round, they can only choose 1 out of 2. The end result for this round is to vote for a team that did well AND to give the winner the right to release the song. Those voters might think both team did really well, but they can only choose 1 team, which the winner will get to release the audio recording of the song. If I am in that position, I would choose the one that gives better vocal to my ear compared to the one that dances better. For Ignition and Mamma Mia, vocally and pronunciation wise, both teams did well, so that's why the score differences are not much. For this performance (Prison), Park Han's voice stands out more, and the Groove team has better pronunciation and vocal distribution, making the song sound more colorful with different vocal tones. So I think because they can only choose 1 out of 2, that is what causing the huge gap score for the Prison match. They are only comparing between the two and no other performances. This is my opinion, but I think that is why Ten and Yang Yang feel the need to choose a Korean player to trade into their team when they lose Juwon because the Korean member will be the one helping the team to fix their pronunciation for next round.
@@sakurahanis first and foremost the narrative of the father and son is out of context. With Changsub people can argue that he's building a team that caters more towards the Korean live audience (so mainly he's gathering Korean trainees) but he swiped Sirin so that argument also has holes. But my take on the conspiracy theory is that the mentors have an unwritten rule that they aren't allowed to swipe up the team MVP aka the ones in the current 1st spot so that's why the mentors couldn't take JL & Woongki since they were the MVPs

I found my fellow Park Han enthusiast! I don't get why the majority of people voting are not thinking forward when creating a bankable boy group. He should be in the final line-up as someone who can sing and dance well, is handsome (he looks like Park Sunghoon in some angles), and has great camaraderie with team members. He and JL must be the two main vocalists.

Hi Meli. CS didn't take the main players JL and Woongki bc it will displace Han and put him to bench. His score on Groove is low, on 6th place. With the high scores of JL and Woongki, if they move to Groove, Han will be demoted. The reason Groove videos are getting bashed bc of 101 score! Their fans are blaming Rhythm fans, but Rhythm fans are blaming them for getting 101 score. So now all are block voting bc this is a Team debut.
I agree with you that there might be some inside instructions not to get the #1 in each team otherwise TenYang traded for Wongkie as they want to get Korean. I hope there's still chance for team Rhythm to trade back Sirin and Juwon. Sirin just need votes, its the reason why he was in bench team. I also love Li Zinhou, he can make the team alive.
Yes, the one that ended in Nov, I understand that the next one will be use for Ep7-8. The last part of Ep5 was the result of global voting ending Dec20 , with one day more to count.
Individual voting= determines their position inside their respective groups-whether they'll stay on starting or bench. Group voting = will determine the GROUP that'll debut. Overall individual ranking doesn't even matter because if the top individual's group loses, they aren't debuting too.
This is the reason why to focus voting the Team first. For me I stick to Rhythm coz this is more complete team. Some TT posting says, no we should also keep on voting Juwon & Sirin bcoz JL retweeted a post. Their conspiracy theory is: Maybe M of Prism means merger, thus when merger happens and Juwon has less votes, he might not be able to make it to top 7. I know that so far he is still in top 7 as of Dec20.
UL show will be on netflix Jan 4 SBS has a deal w the streaming giant/ I think Changsub chose Juwon because hes a good dancer has a good voice for rapping thats a missing piece in Groove. Juwon is also a natural leader/organizer
@meliyaps my guess is it will be since they are also planning on streaming inkigayo music show to the western market, it will be a huge missed oppurtunity for the group/F&F not to include it
The 300 audience full of teens that can't even made good decision in terms of choreography and overall artistry and they have the right who to get yellow cards is what's ruining the show and it's losses it's credibility.
For me..Park han has no aura like wongki and JL.. his missing a aura to stand.out on his group. Vocally he is great yes. But dancing he can dance but not standout like wongki and JL.
I kinda agree with this and that's why he needs to teamup with JL so he can at least learn from him. Park Han and Chih En needs to start smiling in front of the camera so they can at least win more fans. 😂
Personally, I think aura can mean different things to different people. It doesn’t always have to be someone who exudes maximum command of the stage or constantly tries to take the spotlight. Aura can be quiet and subtle. My ult bias is like that, and maybe that’s why I feel such a connection to Park Han. He has a quiet aura, but when it’s his time to shine, he truly delivers. Is Park Han perfect? Definitely not. I don’t think he’s a perfect idol-he spent years in the “dungeon” and is only now starting to perform in front of an audience. But I believe he will find his footing. He’s still getting used to us, just as we’re getting used to him.
I think it’s a little crazy to say that he is missing an aura to stand out when he’s literally the only one from groove’s original starting line up to be in the top 7 and place at number four without any prior group or survival show experience
I kinda agree to this but "no aura" is not the word. As I see it Park Han when he performs was in a trance like a bubble that separates him to a different realm from the audience maybe it's due to fact that for 7 years of being a trainee he has no experience of performing in front of people but for me he's captivating, i love seeing him giving 100% of focus on his craft. The experience is strangely similar to bird watching 😂 no kidding, Park Han is beautiful and natural on stage but so you know you're not invited
@@nenram.5786 I saw a spoiler where Rhythm wears a yellow/golden yellow, Chih En improves his facial expression. Maybe he's also reading the feedback🤣.

@meliyaps my guess is it will be since they are also planning on streaming inkigayo music show to the western market, it will be a huge missed oppurtunity for the group/F&F not to include it
Juwon was also Rhythm's only Korean player.
Loved your tiktok channel for UL if ever tiktok gets shutdown there im already subbed on your yt channel 😊
