Honestly, I thought the same, I thought damn they got robbed after watching the EP. But seeing Team Groove Prison full cam, you start to understand why they won. Since the full cam has more of the audience POV type, you can definitely hear that Team Groove had better vocals and better execution of the song's emotions. Where on Rhythm team, they were more focused on choreography, that’s why they had lots of cool shots/moments on the episode, but when you look at their full cam, some of those moments are sadly not visible on the audience POVs.🥲 Although I wouldn’t be shocked if one reason why there was a huge gap was because Knetz biases were in Team Groove. ( "Home court vs. imports" type of fight). But honestly, I’m happy Team Groove gets to release this as their song, because Park Han owns this song. 🙂
Honest opinion with no hate, if we are going to base the winner by their performance. Team Beat 1st line up should have WON vs Team Groove AND Team Rhythm Bench vs Team Groove 1st line up.. I'll choose the RHYTHM, it's just that live the votings for the winners is unfair. Most Groove trainees has been on a different survival show, they already have solid fans. So no matter how good the performance of Beat and Rhythm they will never WIN.
For me the team groove starting line up and rhythm bench is a close fight I actually wont mind whoever lost between the two but the VOTE gap is too much wtf is that only 101 votes for rhythm bench is too unfair this is why they are being mocked as ABS league. Groove vs beat starting line up is not even a question it's definitely Beat winning that one. The song lyrics are literally written in their language already, I cant believe they hear that song and think that it is supposed to be sexy the onsite voters are so frustrating.
Also, most, if not all of Groove members, are Koreans. If you know what I mean by that. This show having no judge is making it so unfair for international contestants.

The abs performance is giving me "all that glitters is not gold" vibe. Are they using their abs to mask their talent? The Rhythmn's Prison is my fave, there was a part that I really felt them being imprisoned.
Because you are so blatantly accusing that Groove team doesn't have talent, I'm going to be really honest too. For Prison, team Groove sang with souls, and their vocals sound a lot cleaner with good pronunciation while team Rhythm feels like they are only hitting the notes. Team Rhythm's performance is still really good, but even if you look at certain lyrics, the colour pallette of team Groove performance fits better, especially the part of 컴컴한 밤/dark night. Rhythm team looks so bright with the red clothes and lighting, while Groove really embodies the angst, coldness, and loneliness of the song. Team Groove nailed the delivery of the song. The abs does help because it is part of visual aspect of a performance, but you can't contribute the win to only the abs. Koo Hanseo revealed his abs, too, during Hard Carry voting time, but team Beat still lost, and Koo Hanseo only ranked 7th on his team. Team rhythm that performed Baggy Jeans with more mistakes still got a lot more votes than team Hard Carry. How do you explain that? See the inconsistency about the abs? Just because the result is not in line with you, does not mean you can just discredit the talent of other people. Following your logic, Chih En revealed his abs too during Ignition, so does that mean the abs are the reason for their win and the rhythm starting line members are not talented? No right? Some might like Chih En's abs, but there are so many other things that contributed to their win, including the delivery and talent of Rhythm starting line members. There are soooo many other factors that can affect a performance.

For Prison, we already knew who will win that match since there are already spoiler before the episode was aired so I didn’t expect much from Rhythm’s Bench team however after watching it, I was amazed and thought that it might be neck to neck battle, a close fight. But dangg, the score is social distancing. They fell short of less than 30pts causing Sirin to received that yellow card which he don’t deserve, and Juwon getting traded 🥲
Either there is going to be some sub units groups or for the final mission there will be a mix of of members from all teams. They wouldnt let out so many popular members go away. And team R is way more pushed in screentime and personality for members then the others. By the rules of the next mission there is a high chance to rhytm to win due their high popularity raking members amoung. Its an individual member voting not group voting for what I understood. I like grooves direction more, and agree that they always winning feels a little bit static for tv propose.
my theory is that one team will win, then the mentor will get one last chance to trade members so f&f can get the actual participants they want. they'll be left with 14 finalists of (supposedly) one team so they can still stick with their theme. then it'll be a competition among them for the 7 slots, with the individual votes being crucial.
