    That's really cool, not only does it put more direct pressure on the neck but it also makes the transition to the armbar even easier. Gonna test this out this week. Great stuff.

    Great vid, I was having this issue in training the other day with a big guy big shoulders. Not really a big need to turn the hips so much on the little guys, this technique is excellent.

      Yes, that is also correct. Cutting the angle helps make the space you need to enclose smaller. And remember that if your legs truly are too short in a specific situation to get a good triangle choke you can almost always convert it to an omoplata attack!
