    On Pinterest, to avoid the feed stagnation problem I constantly have to clear the cache and search history, and even that doesn't seem to be 100% effective lol. Thanks for the references!

      That's a good idea!😊 You're welcome Malcolm

    such a simple yet useful idea for a video. I can't say I've seen anyone really dive into this subject. Great tip on using the specific wording to avoid some of redundant stock images. Good sites all around for useful references. I especially like that IG page on photos taken from various carnival goers. keep it up Scottie

      Thanks Alphonzo! Yes I kept sending people to those websites but realised I actually have a process I should share 😊

    Nice, thanks for sharing! Excited to try the ideas. It's fun to use stills from people practicing martial arts, a lot of dynamic poses. For street photography, I love opening my Humans of New York book (Brandon Stanton) and sketching the people in there.

      Thanks for the book suggestion! I just searched google for it. Looks great for sketching references! Is it filled with photos or does it have a lot of text?

      @Eliphosys 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SketchingScottie sure thing and glad you are into it! It is a lovely book, definitely focused on the photos with some small text. Each photo has either a location listed or a brief quote from the subject. Also serves as a nice reminder of the good in the world :)

    I also love sketching/drawing portraits and figures. I've been referencing a book by Rósín Curé as I didn't know where to get appropriate references other than Google. Thanks for sharing 😃🙏

    An interesting source of reference photos I found out is tennis spectators on TV. I stop the image and then take a picture with my mobile. Other people from TV are usable in the same way.

    So true about Pinterest, I sketched a few photos from there, and now it seems to show me the same stuff over and over again. Thanks for the tips!

    thank you for those tips they are very helpful also I wanted to ask you if you can do a room tour and also especially please can you show us how do you setup your light because it look like even if you are not working with sun light your paper is very clear and cool

      That's a good idea to do at one point. I have two Neewer LED lights on either side of my table that I bought from Amazon. Very simple but lights are the most important👍🏼

    • @mazaito8111
      @mazaito8111 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SketchingScottie yes light is really important actually to be honest I would be really grateful to se how do you set your light and at which angle and zone of your are they lighting you and ect...is it those 2 softbox with only 2 level of light? because if it is I ll take them. I am so desperate with light issues 😭.

    • @SketchingScottie
      @SketchingScottie  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mazaito8111 I use these lights amzn.to/3TkuDjb You can find something similar depending on your budget. I have them on white light setting so no yellow on page. Then at 45' on each side. No soft boxes but I'd love to invest in that one day too. 🙌🏼

    I've resigned from pinterest when I've read some articles about their muddy copyrights rules (basically, making YOU responsible for making sure every photo in your collection is legit)
    maybe they changed their rules now?
