The walker in beginning looked great for nymphing or I would bust out the euro rig there. Just because your not seeing surface eats their usually chowing on nymphs along the bottom. Just a helpful hint.

Thanks Andy! Yes a super fun day on the East Walker. I did fish Buckeye Creek too but no signs of any fish, I do have some footage and I think the creek is scenic enough to warrant a video though. Really liked Buckeye Campground, not many people there at all despite it being the weekend. There's alot of free dispersed camping close by but I'm glad I chose the campground because apparently a nuisance bear was breaking into lots of RVs.

Give the West Walker another try sometime. Maybe needed to go deeper in those holes. The section along 395 is great, lots of pocket water, best for indicator or tight line but dropper can work there too. Great scenery out there! The East Walker is a gem glad you did well there.

Don’t walk right up on what your going to fish, be more stealthy put some effort into and it will pay off.
