the way i gasped when i saw the hooks?? they’re so pretty!!
ikr :)))
I’m in love with them too 😍
They might be pretty, but more pretty useless. You want hooks that are ergonomically formed and are not slippery in your hands.
Not me thinking u said books
@@wallyjansen898they wouldnt be showing the hooks off to us if they weren’t ergonomic and user friendly.
For the yarn holder, I just use a kitchen roll holder lmao. It’s pretty much the exact same product :)
Percent and probably cheaper!
I do this, too. 6 bucks at TjMaxx and only 1.25 at the Dollar Tree!
Nice!!
Smart!!! 😊😊😊
Saaame! I just used what I had. Lol. I made my own handles with hot glue, too. If you catch it while it's warm enough, you can mold the grip to your hand with a tight squeeze!
i feel like the hooks would kill my hands😭
I’ve never had a problem with them! They are no different than any other hooks with grips and they are adorable 🥰 but that’s my experience :)
@@HookwinkedFox oh fair enough 🥰
being affordable and comfortable is the way to go! (plus if it’s cute or smth you like :D)
Same... I have to use those unbranded plastic hooks you find on Temu
@@juzahyodo3706my first crochet hook was a 5 mm plastic one from a crochet kit 😀 the yarn was like 100% wool (knitters yarn) and was the size as your average acrylic yarn. it needed a 3 - 2.5 hook
I gasped and said “I need it!” to every item in this video, but when I tell you I melted from the cuteness of the amigurumi sticks?!? I’ve never seen or heard of anything like that but it’s such a perfect idea and they look ADORABLE?!? (They made me think of the little decorative pick things you can find in bento box kits for decorating your food, but for plushies! 🥰)
Is no one talking about the adorable amigurumi buneary?? So cute she used to be my fav Pokémon!
Also yes the crochet tools look really useful!
Ik it’s so cuteee
I was looking to see if I was the only one, it’s literally so adorable!!!!!!
Why is TH-cam recommending me crocheting videos, i don’t even crochet😂 i guess it’s a sign to start crocheting🤔
Do it! Welcome to the next amazing era of your LIIIIIFE. lol. Seriously tho.
You should try! It'll be so fun
That's how I started 😂
You should it’s so fun ❤
those amigurumi sticks look like knitting needles lmao
Yeeesss! & I NEED❣️
Dollar tree knitting needles work just as well for less money if you need a cheaper alternative.
When I first learned how to crochet in 2011 (I was 16), it was not nearly as cool as it is now! So nice to see how popular it has become!
I've been under a rock, of all the crochet content I watch which is alot never seen an electric yarn winder. Of course I need one.
My grandma came over and she said her 4 things are yarn, a hook, safety eyes and stuffing I’m crying 😭
Im surprised you havent blown up yet! Your crochet work is stunning!
Aww thank you so much! It means a lot 🥹
those amigurumi sticks are just knitting needles.. as a knitter and a crocheter for years.. I can do without the sticks cause i like having as much space as possible for my knits.. -but the yarn winder, is what I am keeping my eyes on.
Yoooo that electric ball winder 😍😍 that would save my poor hands….. 🤣 I need that thing in my life!
I had no reason for wanting an electric yarn winder but then you showed that magnetic yarn holder and now I’m sold on both💗
As someone who knits, I should get the 1st and 4th one. I didn’t know there were things that make yarn into yarn cakes (probably really expensive though)
There is a hand cranked version of the electric yarn winder that I found that is $20 on Amazon. The hand cranking isn’t much harder than the electric version, as the crank is designed easy to use and one full crank spins the yarn around about 5-10 times. The only downside is the clip thing that holds it to the table MUST be used on stone countertops of some type, as I had to learn the hard way it will eat into wood. It also is very squeaky, even though it’s well oiled. Mine has served me well though, and is 100x easier than making balls of yarn entirely by hand
That buneary is beautiful
Thank you! I’m working on writing the pattern for it :)
Is no one gonna talk abt how the yarn holder is floating? That’s awesome!
It’s magnetic! So cool and so easy to use! 😍
I think all those things are unnecessary but they help out if you don’t have much time. I know how to knit and crochet and I do everything by myself but maybe that yarn winder would help me out, but a manual version might be cheaper
UGH I LOVE THAT YARN HOLDER😫🙏
Sorry for the question. Why do i need the yarn winder? I just crochet directly out of the skane
They're useful if you've taken enough of the centre out that the yarn is collapsing, or if it's been frogged and you need to wind it back up. (Or if you're using the fancier yarns that only come in hanks, but I don't think that's entirely relevant here)
then you don’t need the yarn holder- i crochet using one pound skeins that collapse and lose shape about 400 yards in, so i need to wind it into balls to use it.
The yarn winder is around $50 US btw
I think I might get that soon 😂
Hahah it’s the best $50 I’ve spent 😂❤
In my country they are double 😭😭
Where can I find that yarn winder?
The way i need it all. Omg the yarn holder
Buneary ! The pokemon 😍 😳. I love pokemon .
Yesss! I love Pokémon too! Working on making the pattern for this guy :)
When you have your yarn in that cake take the inner end of the yarn. That way you do not need a yand holder, it stays put while it unravels from the inside.
thank you! 😂 makes no sense to make it into a cake and then don't use it like it's supposed to be used lmao...waste of time and money.
There’s an electric version! Man I been self winding for months for hours to make cakes, to point of arm tiredness and soreness. 😂
Hahah at least you get an arm workout! 😂 but yesss my life became so much easier with an electric one
Someone's deep in consumerism.
Bro 💀
I dont have money- soooo... I made a make shift yarn holder in the past which is a giant super long chopstick, and wedge it in between the large drawer infront of me and then shove the yarn onto the stick, and find whatever i can shove to like.. Keep the yarn plugged in 😅
Its cheap looking.. But hey it works! 😂
Gonna need that yarn holder and yarn winder asap
As someone who has tried and is still failing (and possibly giving up) to do the starting crochet stitch, I have no use for these but I still want them all
I want the last item! I love how it moves way better than a paper towel holder
I got myself a yarn winder however it's not electric, but i wouldn't trade it
Omg TY 😊 🙏 💓
A YARN HOLDER IS A THING??!!!!! I want to cry all my problems have been solved, I hate having to tug on the yarn to get a bit more. It’s such a minor thing but when you crochet for a long time it’s just a little thing that constantly given you like -1 pt happiness. A tiny quality of life improvement but it makes me sooo happy to know there is a fix
It’s the best!! 😍
I don't understand the point of a yarn holder when you have already made your center-pull balls. Why would you go through the trouble of winding your yarn into cakes if you're then going to pull from the outside of the ball?
Im ordering the amigurumi hooks and wearing them in my hair. 😂 so adorable ❤
Why would you need an electric winder if you have magnetic holder? You can put store bought skein on it. ❤
I used to do that when I didn’t have a yarn winder, but the store bought yarn would get caught on the bottom of the yarn holder because the shape isn’t ideal, so although it was better than having no yarn holder, it still had issues. Especially with the magnetic yarn holder, if it got caught at the bottom, the holder would come off the magnet completely. Once I got the yarn winder, it made the yarn the perfect shape for storage, and also the perfect shape for crocheting with or without the yarn holder. Another perk, is that if you have a lot leftover yarn from a project and it’s become a mess, you can clean it up by winding it. That’s why I personally love both my yarn holder and yarn winder. ❤😊
I actually like winding my own yarn..it's sort of fun..in a mind numbing put me to sleep way 😴
I need the yarn winder!
I got it on Amazon! It’s called the Etcokei Yarn Winder! I love it 😍💕
Thanks!
Those crochet hooks would be great for arthritic hands!
You can also use knitting stick as a amigurumi stick
BUNEARY CROCHET DOLL OMGGGG that’s so cute
Crying in the corner with my double hooked needle and a biscuit tin full of yarns in plastic bag (put em in plastic individually to avoid tangles) 😪😖😢
I need a yarn holder 😅
the crochet hooks are adorable
Me and my mum (im 14) get s plain hook and get some claye and design our own hooks😊
I need to get an electric one. I have a manual one which doesn’t work the best as it was cheap and it takes time to wind it up with the handle when the electric one seems so nice.
Ooo I could totally upcycle some chopsticks instead of buying amigurumi sticks
Every ball winder ive ever used the yarn would get caught up in the gears
4 Things I Don’t Regret Buying As A Crocheter:
1- Crochet Hook
2- Yarn
3- Instructions
4- Pizza because I was hungry after thinking about work
Girl i saw that woobles tin and was like im gonna like you
Im a sewest and been sewing since i was 9 and I am 13 now
I want that yarn holder but my cats would have a field day with that 😂😂
Thank you ❤
The yarn holder made me drooool
Here before this blows up
Ooh, I've never seen that particular style of yarn holder before.
I need some of these just for knitting😂
I need a yarn holder 😭
i was actually considering the yarn holder a few months ago… then i discovered the center pull 😂😂
This is making me wanna crochet so thoughts should I make a turtle or a flower pillow that’s in the shape of a Daisy?
Omg!! I did not know there was a thing as the sticks!!! I need them NOW!! My method of keeping the items where I need them is not great lol
Those hooks are so cute! Where did you get them from?
Little Gems Craft Shop on Etsy!
The hooks!!! Omg thanku, I saved them on my wishlist!
Wow I didn’t know they made amigurumi sticks! I need to find me some of those
The way I gasped when I saw the woobles tin like SAME
Hey just wondering, does the first gadget (yarn winder) hold the inside tail out? Because some of my projects require two strings lol
Is it possible to get the info on where to purchase those 4 items? I just found yoyr channel and you're an amazing artist 🩷🧶💕
Basically these are the things you don't need.👏🏻 Thankyou so much for sharing this
Why does yarn need to be winded? I’m new to crochet and I don’t get why you can’t use it directly off the skein
Omggg where did you get the yarn holder and yarn winder?? I need that desperately, my yarn balls are atrocious 😭
OMG THE BUNNEARY
"You spin me right round baby"
-the first one
omg!! The hooks are SOO CUTEEE!!!! im a beginer and the items look so useful!! Where can i get them??
Quick question, why do people wind yarn other than the appearance
I have the yarn winder but you have to crank it by hand
wait omg are the hooks made like that or can you get grips separate? that's so cute
this is really off topic but what keyboard do you have? it looks really nice 😁
My biggest flex is that i can make a yarn cake that looks machine made without a machine 🦾
I want to make my gf some decorated crochet hooks like those, other than the hoot itself, what areas should I not put anything on so they are comfortable?
I don't have a hook but have the sticks
girl we wind the yarn so we dont have to use the yarn HOLDER!!! center pull!!
Can’t forget the actual yarn. To crotchet
Took me 3 hours to wind my yarn yesterday 😭😭
I have a question, why is it better using the yarn in "cake" then how they come in store? I've been doing crochet since like 16 years and to me i don't think it changes a lot 🤔 i prefer mine in a ball so it rolls when I pull my yarn 😂 does the cake do almost like this ?
i wish i could crochet, but i'm too lazy to learn
im a young crocheter and I have wayyyyyy too much yarn so I wouldn’t be able to get any of these 😭
if you have a knot and you have to rush to stop the electric winder tho 😭
That yarn looks so soft!!! Where is it from?
I got it from premier yarns website! It’s the premier basix chenille brights yarn!
I’ve been rolling my own yarn these past 2 days and it’s so trying but I don’t have money for a yarn winder😢
what do you use on the inside of the yarn ball when you put it on the holder?
the last item is the only thing I can see being the actual need 😂
Is crocheting hard? I really want to pick up crocheting as a hobby, in hopes being able to make and sell a few stuff
will you link them in desc or smth
genuine question: why do yall wind your yarn?? I've been crocheting for 2 yrs now and nobody has told me why but everyone seems to do it?? 😭
Fr, before consumerism culture shorts started popping up in my reccomendations, I've NEVER met even a single sould in my life before who winds their yarn?! No one in my family, jone of my friends, acquaintances, nor the one classmate i had once
The only "winding" ever done was if some very specific novelty yarn got easily tangled up and they had to wind it around a stick or unused knitting needle to make sure it doesnt tanke again
I just dont see why there's a reason to wind your yarn outside of accessibility perhaps? But that also counts into specific cases
Using it as it's bought is the most handy and least time consuming way to deal with it for sure
What does spinning the yarn do? And why do you do it?
I want all but one of these things. Could someone explain to me why people wind their yarn. Like, it comes wound, you just pull it out
Why you need to wind the yarn? Can someone explain it, please?
Is it weird that i crocheted covers on my crochet hook handles? 😅
😻😻😻
I dont have a automatic yarn winder, I have a normal yarn winder and i need to crank it with my hands.
What’s a electric yarn winder for I have a feel I know but I’m not 100% positive
