Don't think I've seen Henry concentrating so much on a flight, especially taking off on the first touch and go staring intently down the runway!
Love it! With the 915 the rate of climb looks awesome and so much more room than a Calidus. Can't wait to go for a ride!
I really like the Evo Henry. Seems to be very smooth and the climb rate looks good. The unobstructed view is awesome. Reminds me of my Ultralite flying days.

Awesome flight as usual.
My buddy Zach built a gyrocopter and finally got it up into the air and sent me a picture from an altitude of way too damn high and watching it i got the same feeling i get looking over th edge of a tall structure, like stomach drops and the primitive part of my brain you know the "i wouldn't do that shit if i was you", or "red alert red alert brrppp brrrppp run away run away, yeah that part is piping up with "dont even fucking think about it"

Henry you changed the furniture. That stick shake looked pretty smooth to me. But video and real life can be deceiving. I hope ELA doesn't put a Garmin autopilot in it, it'll make the decision of which gyro to get even more difficult. 😂

How does it compare to the Calidus?

Max seat weight is about the same as the Cavalon.

If you're only going for a Sport Pilot - gyroplane license, no medical is needed in the US.
We have been an ELA dealer for quite a few years. We do have the jump version coming in June, in our showroom. And they do make an open air windscreen for the ELA as an option.
Unfortunately I had my 2nd class medical denied so thanks to FAA logic I no longer qualify for basic med.
@@robertheywood141 is the reason your 2nd class was denied, fixable?
I think/hope so.
Just very time consuming dealing with the VERY SLOW FAA.
Whats the price for the Evo fully loaded with all the bells and whistles out the door? Also can I get 3 axis autopilot?

Lord have mercy....is that typical to do that much back and forth with the tower? Is that because its a "test flight". I was looking into getting into something like this.

Is it Norman to take a passenger on first test flight?
This wasn't a first test flight. Henry flew about 5 hours prior to filming this. Flight testing after a modification that is not considered a major change is at the sole discretion of the owner or pilot, so it may or may not be as formal as Phase I. In general, however, the owner or pilot should conduct it in uncongested airspace local to an airport, to keep distractions at a minimum. CARRYING PASSENGERS NOT INVOLVED With The Flight Test SHOULD BE AVOIDED; however, because this is not Phase I testing, a PASSENGER MAY BE carried to MONITOR AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS OR PERFORM OTHER FUNCTIONS RELEVANT TO THE PURPOSE OF THE FLIGHT, if appropriate. As with any test flight, there should be a clear plan with clear objectives."
ELA, Calidus or Cavalon, which one is the best?
That's very subjective and depends on your personal preferences.
Thanks, it would be nice with a review from professionals though, Calidus, Eclipse or a side by side? I understand that a side by side is nice for instruction but it worked out well for me taking the conversion from fixed wing in the ELA-07 in Spain. I even bought an old one, but I live in Norway and don't want to have a cold all year round. Your videos are great btw!@@AdventureAir
Why would you accept a "no delay" takeoff clearance when you haven't even got the rotor spooled ?
Real pilots don't need motors
