I like it smart idea. I have fiberglass cab on my motorhome which is a plus but you can have the same issues on the side by the gutters. Thanks for the idea and review. I spend money on my RV for piece of mind cost don't matter to me.
This specific product is only available through them installing it. There are a few diy coatings that people use but it’s been a long time since I’ve researched them. The biggest failure point no matter who does it is getting it cleaned thoroughly
So when you did not remove your air condition did they tell you if you ever had it worked on to where the air condition come off the roof you broke the seal warranty is voided if you replace the skylight if we will void the warranty if you replace a vent it will void the warranty in the last you take it to them and get it re-sealed they will not come to you you have to take it to them
I don’t think the seal actually goes all the way to the air conditioner gasket. I have seen them tell people on their FB that if you added solar panels then they could send you the kit to do it yourself or you would have to pay a minimum service call fee but they still come to you
hmm interesting video. I have never heard of this, but it seems like a nice upgrade. We will consider it with out next camper. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and happy travels
This is very cool. I have heard of it but not seen it. Nice upgrade for the RV. The roof is the life of the RV for sure. Very cool share. I am interested in this. Thanks man.
They say they can’t do them. Because they can’t warranty them from all the moving parts. I feel the same so I’ve spent all week putting a rubber roof coating on them myself
It does look good. The contractor appears to have done a good job. But, the only way I would accept a 'lifetime' warranty is if it was backed by a stand-alone, individual insurance policy ...issued by a 'known' insurance company. It is not an uncommon practice to pump up a company's books to sell to a Private Equity group that immediately prepares it for chap.11 or re-sale. Given the amount of time the typical RV owner holds the title, there could be a two-year 'leaks' warranty available for a lower cost. Depending on the cost, I might even buy that.... Jim
Not really... unless you have them come back and I’m not sure of the charge. There is a small repair kit that says you can use it to add things but not sure there is much product there
Thank you for sharing this. We used them after some tree limbs tore up our roof. People we have shared it with all day why would you pay for something like that?? Cause it’s painless and easy and keeps my roof looking nice and fresh! Also the warranty is transferable!
Hi! Did they remove the existing roof or did they go over the existing root? I also have some tree damage on my RV. They said they can just over the old roof but the patches where the damage is might be visible. Thanks
@@FunDuude it can also be misleading as the price is per linear foot, the price then was $150/ ft but that can change, they also have a 24’ minimum so that’s $3600 and a 40’ fifth wheel would be 6k barring pricing changes; there are also additional options so the easiest thing to do is to get a quote

Don't worry about it if you maintain the factory roof the way it was intended you will be just fine. The guy in this video taking a brand new cougar and ripping all the sealant off the roof. So by doing this DIY not only has it voided his warranty with keystone but he just put his trust in some unreliable company that probably will go out of business and his warranty will be useless.
They did not because they said they couldn’t warranty it. That being said, I put my own coating on and can understand because with the seals rubbing it has been less than perfect. Think I’m go to do slide awnings this year

Going Guntersville State park next weekend.. Good video.
It was a nice place to visit

You may be able to have your insurance cover it.

So how much did it cost, you said you were going to share that?

Isn’t that as good a any lifetime warranty on anything?
Once you get this done can you ever add anything to the roof? Like more panels etc...
