Everyone makes mistakes and especialy for those little kids it's amazing how they perform every day for huge audiences. I saw ava perform and she was fabulous! It doesnt matter she messed a little bit up, she is amazing anyway!
Its different, here they can see everyone in the audience, when they are on stage preforming they can only see about a foot or two out because of the lighting.
Don't get me wrong, these kids are incredible! I still want to see the musical, but I wish I was able to see it with the original Broadway cast. But I would still LOVE to go see it with the current cast.
I feel so bad for her she is so young and so cute people probably don't care that she messed up. She is so cute that her smile probably made it all better
I think she got a bit tongue tied, or her tongue just got in the way of pronunciation, which caused the slip up. Poor thing. She carried on like champ, though.
I also think she messed up because when she sings the song for the show she starts from the beginning so since she had to start in the middle she messed up the phrasing which is completely understandable. Btw I'm seeing Matilda tomorrow😊😋
+Jeannie Cronise no she forgot the line she was supposed to say 'if you sit around and let them get on top you' however she started saying 'if you always take it on the chin and wear it' and then realised her mistake and so missed out the rest of her line. the rest of her performance was totally fabulous and covered it like a pro.
***** that makes no sense because this accent is harder to understand than the English one they were doing before. The girls on West End don't even have what I would consider thick English accents
***** are they still teaching the girls this strange Scottish-like accent? They have got to be aware of the complaints and that it's having the opposite effect then what was apparently intended (having it easier to understand.. at least that's the rumor of the reason for the change)
