How to make sentences in Dari language - sentences in Present tense.
There are a few rules to know in order to make sentences in Dari language.
    1. We have to find the root form of the verb and use it in the sentences.
    رفتن - رو to go
    گفتن - گوی to say
    نوشتن - نویس to write
    دیدن- بین to see
    خوردن - خور to eat
    شنیدن - شنو to hear
    آمدن - آی to come
    و غیره and so on
    2. We use a prefix before the verb in the sentence which is (mi می ) for present tense
    3. Use a specific suffix for the verbs in the sentence, and the suffix is different for the pronouns.
    من - ام I
    تو - ای You
او - اد He she it
    ما - ایم We
    شما - اید You
    آنها - اند They
    4. Verbs always come at the end of the sentences.
    Subject + Object + Verb
    فاعل + مفعول+ فعل
من دوست تو هستم I am your friend (man dooste tou hastam)
    examples:
    رفتن - رو to go
    من میروم I go
    تو میروی You go
او میرود He she it goes
    ما میرویم We go
    شما میروید You go
    آنها میروند They go
    گفتن - گوی to say
    من می گویم I say
    تو می گویی You say
او می گوید He she it says
    ما می گوییم We say
    شما می گویید You say
    آنها می گویند They say
    نوشتن - نویس to write
    من می نویسم I write
    تو می نویسی You write
او می نویسد He she it writes
    ما می نویسیم We write
    شما می نویسید You write
    آنها می نویسند They write

Rina Vlady Thank you very much for watching Dari Lessons! And I am so sorry for replying so late. Yes of course I will try my best to prepare new lessons about how to make sentences in the Past and Future. The Farsi/Dari grammar books clearly indicate the roots of verbs (Bon Fel) but I doubt you could find any book in English. Thanks again.

Thank you for your nice comment. Yes ofcourse we have many things in common. Our culture and tradition are similar to each other. Did you know that there are many Farsi/Irani families who have lived for more than hundreds of years in India. Smriti Irani for instance. Did you know that Pakistan's national song is in Farsi (in pure persian)?

Is there bigger list of verbs like the list you give @ 1:12? (with the infinitive and the root?) since the infinitive and the root are so different and you have to memorize them, I was wondering if there was a more comprehensive list some where?

Salam. My family is from Swat, KPK. so we only speak Pashto. I'de love to learn Farsi, especially Dari as It's easier for me to understand than Iranian farsi for example. Any helpful tips u could give me? Tashakkur!

    • @parsidari

You should have friends who speak Dari. You can talk to them in Dari and improve your language skills. You should also listen/watch to Dari speaking channels. Sometimes it would be better to study Dari books and/or read online Farsi websites. Facebook is a great source to read what people are writing. And very important, try to write. It does not matter if you start with one sentence. Try to start writing. You can search for Afghan friends in facebook. Try to communicate with them via Dari.
      Good luck!

what is the مي in the present sentence.

    • @parsidari
      @parsidari  8 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you for the comment. می Stays the same in present tense. It is not needed to have it in future tense and in the simple past tense.
      Present tesnse
من آواز می خوانم. I sing.
تو سفر می کنی. You travel.
او درس می خواند. She studies.
      Future tense
من آواز خواهم خواند. I will sing.
تو سفر خواهی کرد. You will travel.
او درس خواهد خواند. She will study.

Hey, i have a question. Is there big difrence between afgani dari and irani farsi?
Because i noticed that there some difrences, maybe is just the accent.

    • @parsidari

      Thanks for the comment!
No there is no difference between Farsi and Dari. The difference is in dialects and new Iranian Farsi differs with old one. If you have read poems from Hafez, Saadi, Mawlawi, Ferdawsi and other poets they are all Dari.
      With Regards
