Lovely watch Dan. I don't have a bronze watch and each time I commit to buying one I see something else instead! Really like the combination of steel and bronze, looks like a porthole on an old ship like the Titanic! That dial colour is beautiful. I'll put it in my basket but maybe the new year sale will be when I'm ready to go again! I noticed it's $135 on Ali Express right now, at least for the next 20 hours or so.
They started off with a standard oyster case, and then.. went wild 👍 Lovely!!

I really like the sort old timey nautical look for of the bezel, its kinda cool. Not sure I'd wear one, but its cool and that red dial really works well with the bezel. Interesting to see how well the steel works with the bronze as well.
I have this with a black dial and love it! I like the strap because it’s so soft and flexible
There a tribble down yer t shirt… lovely watch, beautiful clean dial and colour. It’s got the port hole vibe and what looks like a decent leather strap great spot, and great review
Dan, Another great review! I do like this watch even though I’m not a “bronze” guy… The design is very nice and I particularly like the red dial, rich and classy in appearance. Lately i see that Baltany is a non BS brand from AE, tries different things all the time, always in a vintage design mood. This is quite steampunk in a way, but modern at the same time, not bad at all.

Great looking watch. Brass instead of bronze might be cool. Looks almost like copper in some light. Good vid. Keep at it!
Nice to see something different and sorely tempted. Personally I'm pleased there isn't a date as it would spoil the simplicity and symetry of the dial. Nice to see its guts house the 38 too, bargain my opinion.
Baltany is among the best value brands, in my opinion.

Have you seen that chronograph that appeared on AliExpress? Looks great and a very recent release by Baltany
The SS ball bearings are not just for decoration. It can help to avoid scratches on the bezel and knocks on the sapphire crystal. Hopefully it is tightly attached to the bezel.
Like the dial colour not sure about dots on bezel shame they don’t have bezel choices but it’s different

Right when you order from the UK website they get the watch sent from China to their UK depot, then they send it to you using Royal mail thus meaning no import duty for you to pay. Takes a bit longer but the £165 you pay is the only cost.

Dan, there's a spider crawling out of the top of your shirt! Nice watch, but the Steeldive Panerai Bronzo homage is miles nicer. Bit more pricey at £219, but worth it in my opinion. 👍

Are the iron balls attached around the bronze plate durable? I mean, they can't disconnect? And how do you think they are connected? Boiling/gluing is my biggest fear in buying this watch.

The straight lugs lend themselves to some metal bracelets too. Maybe a shark mesh or a beads?
Baltany are great watches ive got a couple of them and the build quality is amazing,my mate wouldn't believe how much i paid ,he genuinely thought it was five hundred and over watch.

Beautiful dial. It's really hard to get red dials right. Baltany is moving up on my list (also their name is not terrible either unlike some other brands).

Love the dial and style but I'm not sure about the steel and bronze combination. Maybe all bronze would be better.
PS: was skeptical but the lighter strap is indeed nicer

Tell me more about the boiled egg trick.
My high school chemistry is a bit shaky but I'm guessing the sulphur from a well boiled egg reacts with the copper within the bronze to form copper sulfate, which is green.

Waste of time, bronze tarnishes by itself without sacrificing an egg it.
Nice watch but the ss ball on the bezel is weird to me.
Got to give credit for trying something new but I’m not a fan of dual metals. But that’s just me.

not happy, ordered off the UK website and its coming from china, import duty will make it to expensive for what it is :(

@@watchmewithwatches The response I got " Hi these ship directly from the factory but delivery time is still only around 10 days " so they ship from China and not the UK so the website is pointless and misleading, the import duty will be around £30 , I will be taking this further!!
