I can appreciate this car from an engineering perspective; getting that much weight to travel that fast without killing the occupants really is quite a feat. That being said, there is no way in hell I would ever buy one, even if money weren't an issue.
It doesnt have low range but you can adjust the ride hight and it does have descent control so yes you could go off road but why would you do that in such a expensive car

I would rather get the Bentley SUV if I wanted to spend six-figures on an SUV. Otherwise, I would opt for a Mercedes ML400 4-matic or a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (only $10,000 difference between the two SUVs with similar performance).

If one pulled up next to me at a light and I didn't see the AMG badging, I might be delusional enough to think I can outpace it in my 4 banger Accord since I know that the people who drive these are typically dickish and trying to cut in front of everyone. That's one advantage to driving a sleeper.
It was almost scary watching you zoom towards the end of the lap with Andre kneeling down not far from you. You were really close to him as you were speeding toward the finish line. And in a nearly 3 ton SUVS traveling at around 90 mph or so. The slightest misstep would smashed Andre into oblivion!
I hate when people say that. How is it pointless? It is fast and can seat 7 and it has a huge boot. If you would on the other hand buy a GTR instead it would be way more "pointless"
If you're looking for utility, there are many less expensive options that do the job just as well. If you're looking for performance, there are so many better options. Thus, this vehicle is truly terrible value. I honesty don't see how you can argue that this vehicle isn't a completely ostentatious purchase.
You can buy an gl350 and a C7 corvette (or many other options that will blow the doors off the G63 in performance) for about the same price. Now, unless you're bringing your wife and 5 kids to the track this vehicle is just ostentatious.

Not anymore. Durango SRT is 1/2 the price. It's Dodge but it's 1/2 the price fully loaded.

Again it is much larger than both those cars and it wont compete in the corners but in a straight line it is very impressive.
0-60 is always slower in the real world vs. the car magazines. especially at altitude.
