Love this song by CCR - it never gets the plays on radio it deserves - always Bad Moon Rising !!!!! - Have You Ever Seen The Rain is probably my favourite CCR song - the verse in Lodi = "If I only had a dollar etc." is a great storyline and having played in pub bands in the past rings so true with me - great lesson and nicely performed.

I can't thank you enough Marty! I am grateful you took the time to share your talent. I'm normally a 3 chord player but you've make it so easy and fun to learn a few other chords. Im a beginner. love this song and saw this video. I live in Tennessee and am traveling to Delaware to take my daughter trick or treating ( she lives there with her mom). When I go Ive been wanting to bring my guitar to sing her a song. Been practicing this for months playing your video over and over.... thanks man!

I have a LOT of trouble making the C and B7 chords due to thick fingers and arthritis, but I sure enjoyed your video!
There is a key change up a whole step, with a neat chord break to get there. If you learn that it automatically enhances an already good song. Nice playing and singing.

I love this song. = I've been struggling with the slap strum because I was having a hard time keeping the pick from getting knocked askew. But when I switched to a much lighter pick - .38mm - the problem was solved. Makes strumming much easier without having to have a death-grip on the pick. Perhaps a good tip for beginners to try if they are struggling with the strum as I was. Thank you so much for doing this video.

Patrick Dinsmore if you can drill/burn/stab a hole in the pick centered under wherever you put your thumb on the pick..... it makes a world of difference
