2. Solo's gimmick is that he THINKS his the Tribal Cheif but in reality he isn't. And it works.
Roman Reigns. Pre-heel. Which the turn came WAYYYY later.
I think WWE's problem with "THE GUY" thing doesn't work a lot of the time because they TRY TOO HARD/TOO FAST to make someone that then let them grow into it. It's not as organic as it use to be in the 90s/00s. Not saying it doesn't happen, just not when WWE is TRYING
I’ve got to say you’ve got it wrong with priest, just because there’s another story line going on that’s overshadowing someone else’s doesn’t mean they were the wrong choice. Personally out of every semi-recent WHC title winner, I feel Priest and Gunther have been the only two to make that title feel like it has some prestige or like it actually matters, and apart from title wins, what they’ve done with his character from judgement day lackey to what he is now is phenomenal. I use to not care about priest like that, wasn’t even on my radar at all until he picked up that title, and he’s really surprised me with what he can do
Tell me you know nothing about usurpers without telling me you know nothing about usurpers
Solo is basically taking the same path as reigns: reigns came in as powerhouse who didn’t talk people loved him then he got pushed n people hated him: then reigns cancer came back he went away n people started to like him then the tribal chief took him over the top: solo just needs that MOMENT that turns the fans around:
Nah bro, Definitely jumping the gun with Solo and Damien Priest. Remember "suffering succatash", it doesn't happen over night or from short runs/reigns.
Austin Theory makes me think of theory of a deadman and theory of a deadman just makes me think of undertaker.
Then I cant stop thinking of undertaker
Solo not being "the guy" is literally the story.
I disagree with the solo opinion, that's the whole point. Also, Austin Theory is solid, but I'm glad he's finally to a point where people want to see him make a turn. He deserves it. I'm an indie wrestler and I have a friend whose done a lot of work for evolve as a ref, said the reason he was pushed so hard is because behind the scenes, the kid earned it. He's a work horse and a damn good kid. I think bigger things will come in due time for him.
Jinder is actually world champion in several promotions now
WWE just didn't know how to use him
Favorite Bloodline moment, Fatu takes over destroying Solo, Roman comes out to attempt save gets beaten down too. Leading to loser leaves town match which sends Solo and Roman away for ever.
For like 2 years fans and these youtubers were saying Solo was the one. My how fickle fans are.
I loved Jinder Mahal as wwe champion. The problem was Roadog pissed away all momentum Smackdown built up throughout 2016.
Have to disagree with Priest. When he won the world title I initially thought he wouldn't be a credible champion but he proved me wrong and carried the belt well and was decent on the mic too
Exactly! SO-Slow and his Menstrual Bloodline are just the WORST. My favorite Bloodline moment hasn’t even happened yet; it’s the moment where this entire faction implodes and leaves our screens FOREVER
Yall said the same thing about Roman as well, the WWE is known to not giving people chances until they leave.
Disagree about Damian Priest, might not be at Cody and Roman’s level, but he’s a star in his own way
Crazy to put Damian Priest on this list considering the last few weeks
Theory made the MITB look like a joke challenge for a mid card title
I actually really enjoy Solo lol - good on the mic
Solo being on the list just proves y'all don't know what you're talking about, the point of the story is Solo isn't the guy and clearly isn't on the same level as Roman, which makes him claiming to be the tribal chief even more egregious
To be fair, giving Austin the MITB while Roman and Brock were champion was never gonna work even if they did like him
Imagine calling kane and show modern giants. They're old school giants knowing how to actually work a match doesn't make you a modern giant it makes you a giant with a good work rate
If Hogan's on this list, Cena and Reigns must be as well, following the same logic of being ridiculously overpushed
Imagine if Nash stayed w/ WWE and they had Austin & Nash for the Attitude Era as antihero types...
Austin theory is good as a young bad guy, he has the cocky, arrogant behavior of a top heel, but it's just not his time yet..
