What I love about Yorkies is that they have NO idea how tiny they are.....they have the heart of a German Shepherd in a pint sized package. I love how the German Shepherd knows how to play with his pint sized friend without hurting him.....he could easily wipe out that little guy with one head shake, but he's playing with his friend like he would with a puppy.
It amazes me dogs have mean sharp teeth & strong jaws but they *choose* to be gentle (even if they gone too raught, still not the serious damage they could do).
That little one is a smarty all right. Feint left, wait for big dog to start following, make a quick U-turn and grab sock before big dog gets back. Haha.

I am saying lol for the Napoleon Complex, but it’s true. He will bark at an American Akita or a Labrador, he isn’t scared for shit. But there is a boxer near us that he likes.
Classic big dog being so gentle with tiny guy.... reminds my of our very elderly GSD who could hardly stand or walk and my son's healthy young Doberman mix would gently "mouth wrestle" with him on the ground...so sweet
Makes me want to cry. We lost our little boy Patrick last month to a pit bull attack. We’re going to miss him every day. We feel like we let him down. He was such a sweet boy, and then he could be feisty too.
I am so sorry. I cannot imagine how horrible that has been for you. I hope you guys are able to heal and eventually have another little buddy to be feisty and keep you entertained 😢❤️
That's what Yorkies where bred for in the first place. They where for killing barn rats and mice and that's why they do the bite and shake. My 2,5 lb Yorkie will even do that if she finds a Kleenex or piece of paper.

We have a German Shepperd Husky mix and a Yorkie that play just like that. The German Shepperd is super protective of the Yorkie but will play hard with her himself.
The shepherd is so gentle with the Yorkie! He even waits for him to bite the toy and play Tug of War. Great video! I have a video on my channel of my Morkie trying to dominate my Shepherd. It’s great!!! lol! Love this video!
This shouldn't I know a friend who had a german shepherd and a maltese and everything went fine for 2 years then one time when they were playing the german shepherd accidentally killed it

I have a 2.5 lb micro. Big dogs are actually very protective of her, but you still have to be careful.
But these two grew up together, according to what the owner said, so they know each other well. Otherwise would it work...
