I agree you can get a base model and have it built in your way. Because the premium trim levels doesn't necessarely get you double the value, for double and more the price.

Everyone has an opinion. For me it comes down to no incentives and bad interest rates. On new vehicles I haven’t paid over 2 percent interest in my life. Both my used vehicles now are less than 4 percent. Also my raises have slowed down in recent years. An the biggest issue for me is I prefer high optioned Mustangs. So my Spec is in the 60k range. Don’t care about no custom tuning and yes I have owned a S550.
Iv owned all mustangs and 2024 is by far my favorite one its the worst selling because economy is bad, iv owned 07 mustang gt 2013 5.0 2021 10speed mustang 5.0 and now 2024 6 speed manual 5.0 easily 2024 is the best 5.0 i ever drove and crazy fast for stock i ran 11.9 on stock tire, also love the screens, also i want a super charger on mine and cover by warranty
Economy is good. Everyone in my family and all my relatives have become richer in 2023 and 2024. So I don't understand the notion that the economy is bad.
@ thats not true I made 186k last year and I pay 4k mortgage on a two bedroom house, i am in cali , the average rent went up 100% one bedroom studio in cali averages 2k plus, so your either lying or you don’t understand your dollar decreased in value, ya you made more so did I, but now my money is worth less 😂, just put it this way the same house that I live in 2019 would’ve ben 900 bucks to own a month now its 4k hahahaha thats what inflation dose
They not selling because the older guys that have the last. Gen. Don’t want to trade in for a Tesla screens ,ford messed up here and it’s a refresh only ..well just like me I’m not trading in my 23 Roush supercharged for this untunable pony.
Theres a lot of reasons these are not selling. You can definitely get some deals on base GT's (non PP). But beyond being untunable there were so many bad design decisions with the s650. The dash is just poorly done. Nobody was asking for stuck on screens. The car is also heavier than the s550. The front end of the GT looks like it was designed 15 years ago. Thought ford would've learned from that failed 6th gen camaro refresh but aparently they just wanted to go full gloss black lipstick. Then the dark horse is just not exciting. Ford picked the worst time to abandon heritage - when dodge and chevy were doing the same. They coulda picked up those customers but instead decided to design a 45k-80k car based on polling from Gen Z LOL. So far they've really fumbled the s650. Still for 39k its not a bad deal and i can see why you jumped on it.
Nailed it. The only reason I don't have one is 1) the price and 2) the economy and 3) gawdam I have too many vehicles already
that is exactly my predictament. Except, I had a bad all round experience with a new mustang in 1986 and swore I would never by a new Ford
