Not the same exact thing…but this reminded me of the time when NY Yankee Dave Winfield was warming up during an exhibition game (circa 1981. IKR. I’m showing my age)… threw a ball towards the Yankee dugout… and killed a seagull, who was in the path of the ball. Winfield got a lot of grief from every media outlet at that time. Hope that Peralta doesn’t.
@@izzyn4315 this was NOT good news. It was a story about something that did not happen. Bird did not get hit. Superstition that blames a sports team loss on a bird. It is ridiculous and ridiculous is not the same as good news.
