i dont like that cages... also in poultry. i know some claim its "cleaner" they dont run in their own "dirt", but at least they dont run on wire all day. i know its about making money to survive, but it still like that "normal" poultry farms more then that.

First you can't differentiate between how 'inhumane' treatment can be applied as a general term for cruel treatment towards animals, and then you can't correlate an imprisonment of a person put in chains with the general idea of losing one's freedom regardless of what species you are. The chickens people have in Colorado are free-range. They only go into a pen at night to keep the coyotes from eating them.
It's a cultural thing, and free-range animals is something most here respect.
