Burlington Northern Unit leads BNSF Local Sand Train thru Rochelle, IL on a Rainy Day! 6/28/2024

We got super lucky and were able to once again catch this awesome Burlington Northern unit leading as it heads westbound with a load of sand cars on a super rainy day! What an absolutely epic catch! This video is also dedicated to the memory of my grandfather, Daryl K. Gabbard (bubba’s great grandfather), who was a major Burlington Northern fan! He was a Vietnam Veteran war hero of the United States Army and an awesome rail fan who was responsible for bringing me into the world of trains. We honor you, we salute you and we miss you!
