    For anyone wanting to deep dive into learning about your cycle, I HIGHLY recommend the book “Taking Charge of Your Fertility”!! I’m reading it now and am learning so many things that as a 27 yr old, I was never taught.

      Omg I literally just commented this too 😂 i bought the book in 2020 and had been following the method to avoid pregnancy entirely naturally for about 4 years. IT WORKS IF YOU FOLLOW THE METHOD!!
      Crazy empowering
      Now got pregnant intentionally very quickly with the knowledge I had of my cycle. Its so awesome

      @@wv9459 I’m just now learning about everything, but I got off the pill last week after being on it for 8 straight years and I’m excited and empowered to track my cycle myself!

    Thank you so much for posting this. I’ve been on birth control for most of my life and I am 28 years old. I’ve been on the pill and now the Nuvaring for the past 2 years. I’ve recently decided to get off birth control because I’ve seen how much it has changed me emotionally and I hate it! Thank you for this video and I hope this helps anyone reading my comment 🤎

    Can I say thank you for giving more disclaimers than MOST ‘health’ influencers. 😂💕

    I find my period goes quicker and hurt way less when I use the period undies. Game changer.

      YES! I thought I was just imaging it but I swear it takes two whole days off my cycle!! I think the cramping and the tampons causes unnecessary pain.

      Yep. Pads or period underwear allow your body to work best. That’s always been the case for me too. 4 days instead of 6🙌🏻

    The reusable silicone Menstrual Disc has been a complete game changer for me, especially with a heavier first few days of my period after having kids. To me, the menstrual disc seems so much easier to insert than menstrual cups. I love the fact that you can “auto-dump” and empty them without physically taking it out. And the fact that you can leave it in for 8-12hours and then just wash it out in the shower at the end of the day is amazing! Also, mess free period sex! Would love to hear your thoughts on the menstrual discs once you try them Morgan!

      Okay you’ve totally convinced me to give them a try!! It’s always intimidating to try a new method but the soft disks sound great

    Anyone wanting more info on your cycle read the book ‘taking charge of your fertility.’ Our bodies are incredible and you’ll feel SO empowered with the knowledge from this book. It’s wild that we aren’t taught this stuff..
    I followed the method in the book to avoid pregnancy for over 4 years (no condoms, bc, etc.), then achieve a wanted pregnancy nearly immediately.
    Weight lifting SCREWED up my cycle 😂 delays ovulation by about 2 weeks for me any cycle that I tried to weight lift. Crazy stuff.

      Definitely need to get that book!!! The weight lifting part is so interesting to me! Also congrats on your pregnancy (whether that was recent or not) 😊

    Thanks for this! Such an important topic that needs to be normalized. I highly recommend trying the Flex Reusable Disc. I've used the disposables and keep them around for emergencies, but the reusable is my ride or die. Much more comfortable. Not to mention such a $$$ saver. You can empty it without removing it, and you can even keep it inserted for mess-free period sex (though it might leak in some positions if your flow is heavy.) Like everything there is a learning curve, but I'll never look back.

    Natural Cycles only uses body temp to track ovulation which is retroactive, so PLS do not fully rely on it!!!

    • @morgreeen
      @morgreeen  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh for sure! That’s why I said tracking apps are great to be in tune with your body but shouldn’t be the only measure you take!!

    • @madelinegonzalez9637

  • @wv9459
    @wv9459 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yeah don’t trust app predictions unless you are 1000% okay with pregnancy. Bad bad bad idea. Your body could randomly delay ovulation by a few days or weeks for whatever reason and you could easily end up pregnant. Just as bad as the calendar or rhythm method

    • @morgreeen
      @morgreeen  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh totally! That’s why I said it’s a great tool to be in tune with your body but not the only measure you should be taking 👍🏼
