@JohanSegeborn Hey thank you very much Johan! I really love your channel, so much help to me over the years, deciding on which era of tubescreamers/speaker to buy 😎😁

Got an fx90 delay and it knocked an ehx deluxe memory boy off my board immediately, just three knobs makes it much easier to dial in the sounds I'm actually looking for

Great demo. Really good tones, never thought much of old DOD pedals, but they seem to be really popular right now. Nice job. 👍

This is the first pedal I ever bought in the mid 80's . I still have it in near mint condition with the box and circuit diagram (the sticker was on my old bedroom door) apart from the fact it sounds like it's maxed out at any setting. I haven't found a local tech that could fix it.

I bought one in 87 and honestly I was and am not attracted to chorus pedals. Thought I’d watch and see if you could change my mind. Well it didn’t happen so it’s going on the verb. Thanks for sharing.

If you like the DOD Stereo Chorus pedal, then I definitely recommend you try out the DOD ICE BOX!
It truly is the GREATEST Chorus pedal there is on Earth!

Had one when it first came out. Kept it for years on my pedalboard. Not sure why I sold it. Probably in the pursuit of the next shinier thing...

@AlexHamilton TLDR - Be nice . Gear is great , Music is better . there are guitar players out there who have arrived on top of the mountain . they speak in blanket statements and absolutes. these sorts of folks will insist the ONLY good gear to use is what they have right then . even if they are stoner doom and you are bluegrass. then there are others who are on a path , they keep the mind open and therefore can experience many things. i have found its best to avoid attempts at communicating with the type A because i am on a path rather than mountain top . my wife and i will be making music today . we have 14 new pieces . 34 holidays back , she bought me a dodfx62 Bass Chorus on our second Christmas. i still have it . its in a set up of three boards (26 pedals) that feed a pc for amp / cab modelling then out to a rack with some addtional sig processing / xlr out to a mixer for a headphone rig we used for the family band . i played guitar thru the fx62 and its on about 6 of my 15 solo disks .To my ears its a phenomenal chorus , But i also have a Boss Ce-2 that i love because i paid 25 cents for at a garage sale in Bridgeview il - but its completely different sounding chorus . Over the last two days we built two rangemaster (treble boost guitar effect) , one was npn silicon the other pnp germanium , both modified ( input capacitor switching vs input capacitor BLEND control) both "properly " biased to the numbers. Gee i am old , so i built my first effect in the late 80s but that was a rack mount ring modulator with a slightly more complicated Bi-Polar power supply from Craig Andertons Paiaa catolog / book which i pre-ordered the book. So perhaps this type of monkey biz qualifies me speak with the illusion of some kind of authority when it comes to the subject of guitar effects - perhaps not . Everyone has a set of ears and very little of that type of thinking really matters where the rubber meets the road . But it is these minimally perceptible nuisances that we fall in love with thru our gear and we should be allowed to do that and not be attacked by someone else who sits behind a qwerty . For ME things like tone suck are part of the process so there is always give and take, its not even worth the time it takes to type and yet how many hours have i wasted .... analog and digital go hand in hand because they have become dear old friends - in our home . interestingly enough the FX62 Bass Chorus does something the Ce-2 does not . come to think- i modified my Ce-5 so it can do this trick which could be described as " null rate " which is basically a very minute amnt of delay. you can run the pin two connection on the "speed" or rate control on any chorus circuit to a toggle . this will defeat the modulation but leave the delay in tact . a big part of my old guitar tone , pairing this with a hi gain dirt clipper and mid scooping eq - the bad ole days . ha ha with the old DoD you merely turn the rate control to MIN and it stops moving ... imagine that . in my experience its next to impossible to find chorus units that will stop moving , But what do i know ? i am unable to juke box classic rock riffs . i prefer writing , learning and performing basic rockish instrumental (complete) pieces with my ole lady accompanying me on her bass rather than speeding thru the signature or most identifiable riffs in rock and roll at 2x orig bpm. perhaps our gear does NOT define some of us . perhaps for some of that is the job for our MUSIC , but if you do not have any of your own music .... well then maybe you GEAR can define you . its apples and DURIAN . th-cam.com/video/-B-KnfgmLHQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3SIRz_AmOVHDxQ_f
