Dizaster got massacred every round. Not debatable. Years later and i STILL come back to this battle. If Illmaculate had actually spit like this against Madness he would have won that battle.

This is when I thought Dizaster was trash. He has improved greatly and has become one of my favorites. But Illmac took this one.
Same. I disliked the shit out of him back then. He was the perfect heel. Now, he's one of my favorite battlers.
Dizaster was ok here but , Mac just killed him. I used to watch thesaurus and illmac rap on jump off street battles like 15 years ago on Comcast. Point is , I knew when I was watching thesaurus and Mac I was watching something special happen. Then battle rap completely blew up on TH-cam a while later. Was great to basically watch rap history / battling evolve.

Probably Diz's worst battle in his early era days. Illmac 3-0, with the 3rd probably being the only time it MAY have been debatable. That's when Diz started actually coming consistent with his freestyles.

This is the battle where I realized Illmaculate had passed Thesaurus in Skill! Dizaster has definitely gotten better than this though!
Loved battle rap at this time, it was hard hitting relevant punchlines. Battle rap today is 5 minutes of irrelevant wordplay and filler with hardly any relevant punchlines. Battle rap is about dissing your opponent, not about irrelevant wordplay with pop culture references.

Dizaster had some crazy energy and brought the pain, but to me, the way illmaculate rapped in this one is the most musically dope rapping I've heard in a grind time battle.
Damn you can tell Diz gets so mad when someone actually rips him. Illmaculate ripped him up, had me rolling with some of those lines. "Putting spinners on his car bed!"

Diz is definitely the better battle rapper presently. But this battles happened over 3 years ago and Diz wasn't as polished as he is now. He's sick in this battle, but Illmac was more prepared and definitely got him. This was back when Diz spent too much time saying "yo, yo, yo, yo". Diz is definitely my favorite battle rapper along w/ Pat Stay.. but Illmac got him on this one..

I'm a huge Diz fan, but Illmac raped him. I've seen this battle many times and Illmac was more prepared from the start. 1 minute rounds definitely play into Illmac's advantage too. Diz raps much cleaner these days..

This is how you know Dizaster is a gimmick. At 7:55 he says this muffin soft line -- "You're a rapper without soul, so stfu and go back in your mouse hole or go back to working for Santa at the South Pole" -- but in an angry voice. Not creative, not hard, not clever -- just easy and soft, but he got oooh's and aaaah's from the crowd.
The only thing natural bout Dizaster is losing by an landslide.....That line hit hard as hell!

@Anousone619 bro, dizaster now and two years ago are not the same battle rappers. He is top 10 in any conversation now. Just look at his performances vs Jerzey Swift, Nocan, Swave, SMP, DnA... not to mention his battles in Europe and the 2vs2....
I think that's pretty much the general consensus from all the comments on the battles. Some people think otherwise and they are entitiled to there opinions but I just really can't understand it at all. Illmac's swagger was just too much, totally bodied him.
